Nice idea. I get so sick of campaigns like "The One Campaign" and "(RED)". I think the only people who profit from them are the retailers like Gap. This video is basically saying that we must not look towards large institutions or government to solve our problems, but we must take action ourselves. At least that's what I got.
We take action by being more harmonious, more loving, more caring, taking responsibility for our own incomes, our own lives, not blaming others for outcomes.
The more people do this, the better the world will be for everyone.
And how is taking care of my own income going to stop injustice in Africa? There are millions of people just taking good care of themselves, how does that end poverty? Justice is not racist or bias so if we accept that others should not enjoy the rights that we have than we are bias and not just. If you feel it's ok for your country to invade others while it's wrong for other countries to do so, than there will always be injustice and Poverty. Love your neighbor as yourself.
You wrote - "how is taking care of my own income going to stop injustice in Africa?" Well, I could ask - How is taking care of my own income anything to do with injustice in Africa?
Actually I believe in karma and reincarnation and so have the view that there is no injustice in the world. We reap what we sow - from lifetime to lifetime.
I never mentioned invading any country so how did this sentence get into the conversation? BTW you don't know what my country is.
Also funny you should write this - " if we accept that others should not enjoy the rights that we have than we are bias and not just" Who said that others should not enjoy rights that we have?
The fact is there is injustice and sometimes you reap what you did not sow. So If I come into your home and shoot the place up, you should think that is what you sowed and not be upset with me. If you think people get what they deserve than you must be pro-slavery, pro-colonization, pro-lynching, and pro-war. The decision of your neighbor to not kill you is more real than your past life. Your menatity creates a laise-fair attitude which will allow injustice to florish.
Absolutely not. - I am pro love and that list is anti-love.
I don't know how you can say "The fact is there is injustice" because how do you know what happened in everyone's many past lives?
Because we reap what we sow, we are responsible for our every thought and action, and we create good karma by helping to relieve suffering, and creating a world that is better for everyone by love.
ok, so how do you relief suffering and create a world that is better for everyone? But fighting injustice and speaking out against unfairness. Working about my own finances isn't going to do that. Worrying about myself and no one else isn't going to do that. If you are pro-Love than you can't be comfortable in the face of pure Hate.
Speak out agains injustice even when it benefits you.

*grummel* I thought that hunger IS the solution. One of the best solutions for birth rate control if dosed right.

We can change things. It starts with each one of us as individual. God had a better plan for us.
