There are still plenty of avid Sublime listeners without Rome. w/ Rome was created so Bud and Eric could play songs live that they didn't get to after Brad's death.. but since they create new music now (Your's Truly) they're essentially a different band that has nothing to do with Bradley or his legacy. Sublime is a different band than w/ Rome, Rome isn't the lead of Sublime.

this guy rome, he's just not... a punk rock singer. he sings well and softly. the rawness and agressive spirit of the original band are not present on this. that's the only big flaw on the ''sublime with rome'' thing itself, i think...

Am I the only one who thinks Rome is a queer? Not that its a problem, its just not Sublime. Anyone out there feel me? And he sure as piss ain't no Bradley, that's the truth. They shouldn't call this Sublime w/ Rome, that's for sure. I'm sorry, it just ain't Sublime no more. Brad took Sublime up to heaven with him. Nothing against him as a person, don't get me wrong, just I think they's better off.
BTW, the sax sounds a little "dead" in this song. On the studio it sounded mad wicked!

@blaedfire where is the disrespect? he does sound a little bit like Bradley, if not better (not disrespecting) and he is way better at guitar (still not disrespecting) and it is well known that Brad liked to hit the drugs every once in a while (quite often, with all due respect) and he stated that he's Mexican, which Brad wasn't.

does anyone here think its unfair for this band to be called sublime with Rome, i mean whats wrong with calling it sublime? i mean the band before rome joined wasnt called sublime with brad, i think its totally unfair to Rome. i mean alot of bands change members and the name doesnt change like when sammy hagar joined van halen in 85 or 86 they didnt call it van halen with sammy hagar did they... but they still played all the david lee roth songs....

@DrakkenHart They're covering Sublime songs, which were created by Brad. Brad was the Lead singer who wrote all the songs and beats etc. He was Sublime, created it and every song they made. That's why it's still Sublime *with Rome*.

audio slave performed rage against the machine songs. sammy hagar performed songs that were originally sung by david lee roth... and I am sure there are a million other comparisons.
point being, songs are owned by the entire band and just because brad overdosed and died, doesn't mean the rest of the band loses the right to perform the songs they helped develop.

I can't stand his voice, his fat ass or his poor style. that's just my 2 cents though. @ogracer I think its silly to give Rome all the credit, if any for bringing "this music to the next generation". he doesn't have half the soul brad had. I was mad at first that they kept the name Sublime after saying they wouldn't use it anymore but I guess it's ok if they keep saying Sublime with Rome.
