It sad the the academy refuses to recognize the dark knight as best movie of the year just because its a comic book movie. It deserves not only a nomination for ledger but for best movie because i think its the first comic book movie to have all the elements of a super hero film with all the elements of just a regular film mixed so well together.

I don't know that that's so sad when I think of all of the actors who were once house hold names and now aren't on the radar anymore. Keith obviously was troubled. He died after he turned in the performance of his life, making it just that much more poignant. Few people have the opportunity to top that.
