Gaius is humanity. Flawed, brilliant, weak, incredibly strong. He is full of himself but so in love he is willing to do anything to survive, even betray himself and the rest of the universe. Does he deserve to survive? Has he earned that right?
He is my favorite character too. He isn't a villian or anything, but a man who has spent so much time being self serving that he doesn't know anyother way to live.
He was like a lost little puppy or something. He didn't know how to hold himself or what to do until Caprica 6 told him she was proud of him. I think that was one of the most tender moments between any of the couples in the show. The two of them had always used the word Love to describe how they felt, but at that moment they actually did finally love each other.
I know! I love that couple! And the part at the end where he starts to talk about how he knows about farming and he breaks down and she calms him down, soooooooooooo cute!
It's interesting how Caprica 6 is looked on as Baltar's angel. This is part of Platonism, a Greek Philosophy, and the Colonials are attuned to Greek Mythology and the Greek G-ds.
Great editing but you might want to make sure you get the right band name when crediting the song. "Away From The Sun" is by Three Doors Down not Nickleback.

With that hairstyle he reminds me Jesus. I think producers wanted to make him something like that

I love baltar! I just hope he lives through the final episode, my favorite characters have a habit of dying.
