@MrCorona9 yes you can, amd these are dual 4 ohm 15's. so each sub is brought down to 2 ohms on there own, and then you connect them both then they are 1 ohm
Dont port them.....yea it will be louder but inorder for it to sound better it will need to be double the size....and you will waste any power that goes below your tuned freq. Trust me, someone who has made 10 different boxes for these 15's.
there 6'9 and door speakers are last lol...and they suck, believe it or not CVR's bang harder than L5 also...even tho the RMS is 600 it dont bang like it...i wud put cvr's over them (personal decision)
def. underpowered. Looks nice tho. I have the same subs on a ppi pc1400 and they hit hard and flex damn near to the max. I don't have a video yet but will soon.
a man u should get a bigger amp they can take 2000 watts with easy get the hifonics brutus 2010D works great and very cheap...check out my new vid with the hifonics
well capacitors in general store electricity. Although they do help in smaller set ups for smoothing out the electrical system when there needs to be a sudden discharge of energy, they create resistance and they do not CREATE energy. If you want do do it right, do the big three upgrade, and a bigger deep cycle batt such as optima, deka, kinetik, xs, stinger, etc. Capacitors are worthless for the money.
Dont listen to these guys.. I agree there are alot better out there, but for the money---there amazing-- i have 2 kicker cvr 15's as well and i hit a 139 db and thats pretty good for what i spent on my system. and im only runnin a sealed box. good shit
hey everyone i got one 12" cvr in my extended cab truck and i have power acoustik 620 amp. i know that i am underpowering it but i wanted to know what amp u guys recommened for someone on a budget
where I work at Value Pawn in Miami, Florida we're selling 2 "15 kickers CVRs w/ the box for under $200.00. I just bought one of a Power Acoustik A3000DB Amp. It will be posted once I get the amp. So, UH, what do you guys please give me feedback.
those are the first kickers that i am actually impressed by. i cant wait till i sort my system out its got 2 many things wrong so ive scrapped half of it lol forgot to run 1 in. the other amp is damaged(electrical fire thanks to my brother, self tap in screws my ass) that happened when i new nofin about sound systems n just wanted a couple of 15s lol oooh and the other is seriously underpowered. yer... check out 1 of my vids timberland thats with both amps connected givin it max rms
Look at them waves! Shit is tight, I had two 15 cvrs in a 97 deville with a big ass box that took up the whole damn trunk, shit if I knew I didnt need a box that big...
the only time you really need a "perfect" sized box (ie, according to specs) is when you want absolutly the best potential power from your sub; meaning you get the most out of it. my subs call for 1.15 cu feet (when ported) but i threw them in a 4cufeet duel ported box (and only powered to half rms) and they hit plenty hard for me and anyone in the parking lot
Well shit, I didn't know any better, it was my first system, the next one will be better with the next car though. Respect with what you're doing though shits tight
haha yeah; it's more of a learning process more than anything else; i threw this one together because i knew my friend would want it when he went to college and id be ready for l7's or type x's by then, so i figured why not start a basic system now and revamp it when i go to college
@monroeboy22 why would you do 6 12s? You might as well get some competition subs and max them out. You'll spend the same amount of money.

sorry for the bad english.

wat is that container to the left of ur kickers?
DeAnOsAuR56 2 years ago
its a capacitor, dont buy one. Get a proper electrical for your amount of current draw. Dont put a band aid on it by using a cap.
heyitsmekyle15 2 years ago
wat does it do?
DeAnOsAuR56 2 years ago
well capacitors in general store electricity. Capacitors are worthless for the money.

well i have 2 subs and they dont really sync together and they are not in phase...u think a capacitor willl help?

check my 2 cvrs
(wired at 1 ohm, but in reality about 1.3)

1 15" cvr is 500rms so 2 is 1000rms best amp for these is the 750.1 kicker amp put out about 950 watts true these are sick subs for the price
