I have always been made to believe that Rafi's voice was at its very best first thing in the morning before he had any breakfast. I don't know how true this is. I feel that the songs from the film Dil Tera Diwana were sung then. Rafi's voice is at its sweetest ever, more so in this song. The best ever in my view.

yes shankar jaikishen were fab music directors, no doubt but the songs sung by the one and only Rafi saab were their biggest hits. They worked with othr male playbacks but none of thoss songs ever reached the heights tht the songs sung by Rafi saab did. We have also seen many many equally good music directors (as s & k) but there has NEVER,NOR WILL THERE EVER BE any one like Rafi saab.
