for me, the dubbing in 00 was about 50/50. I mean Allelujah's seiyuu was good in how he managed to capture Setsuna's emotions, but I think the dub voice was just a bit better

I saw s1 of 00 dubbed and after watching it subbed i find that i like both versions. But with s2 i saw it subbed but now i dont want to see it dubbed, i guess ya can say that after hearing the japanese voices i prefer it that way, but if i were to watch s2 dubbed first then i probally wouldn't have cared if i had watched a scene again in either english or japenese. If ya think iam wrong, dont just start flinging insults at me and instead watch 1 episode of an anime dubbed then subbed.

I really don't get it why people are so unaware about the current state of affairs concerning anime DVD's. Most anime DVD's come with the Japanese dub. I can only think of 2 examples of anime without Japanese dub on DVD: Gundam 0079 and any 4Kids dubbed series! Of course Gundam 00 will come with the Japanese sound (Heck, even a quick look on Google proves it). You EVEN have an official subbed Gundam 00 video from Bandai entertainment in your favorites!

hm.... Soma's voice could be a bit higher, but it fits really well. Alle/Halle is workable, but even Alle sounds too vicious. Sergei sounds too much like a hotblooded young ace and not enough like the competent and mature commander he is.

I liked Alle/Halle's dub, even though I prefer the Japanese one. Although I agree that too much emotion sometimes is a bad thing, I think that a character as crazy as Halle needs a bit more emotion in its dub. BUT, I think that Richard did the job very well! And I liked Soma's dub as well. The only one I wasn't too fond of was Sergei even though it's not the worst thing of the world.
