Wow , how long did it take to make this map? My friend once made a map(city too) , he was making it more than mouth (with his pal) and they couldnt run it , it was too big LOL.

Haha oh i had the same problem. I started with this map in 2004 and finished it in 2008 since i wasn't working on it all the time. And yes it got way too big at one point so that it didn't ran really well anymore. It had a huge parkinglot and should got a subway station. But i all canceled that ideas and was shrinking the mapdown to 50 % of it's original size. It was planned for a Mod project and was part of 4 City maps. As you might imagine, it never got finished.

Oh and i won't tell you how to find the secret room, cause i would estroy the fun of finding it ;)

All i can tell you is, check out every room closely. Run, jump and crouch and you will find it for sure.

put this map file into the PK3 folder of Quake 3. That's all. But remember. You need to install the latest Q3 Pointrelease. You cannot play custom maps with the unpatched version of Quake 3.

NVM! i got it working, granted my first map was a 3 foot by 3 foot by 6 foot room =DDDDDDD

How do you play a map you download? I put it in the right folder 'n all. no what?

If you wanna chose the map inside the game chose "Singleplayer and select "skirmish" and

click through the maplist. There you will find it. You can also play against bots. Or start a Multiplayer game and chose the map.

Playing custom map is only possible if you have installed the final Point Release (v1.32). It's only 28.1 MB big. The custom map files (PK3 files) belongs in the PK3 folder of Quake 3. That's all :)

it was the GTK Radiant 1.2.10 update

i'll try to find my older versions on my hard disc cause you can only get the latest version on the raddiant page :(

Lots of time and using Q3 Radiant editor. That's all. I started with an empty project.
