I've recently purchased a mpc 1000, and I'm completely clueless of knowing how to navigate it. I don't know if I have the right hook up to my mixer, because when i try to sample music from a cd, it says at the bottom screen, waiting for input signal. I'm going to buy a turntable soon. I'm also clueless off how to upload sounds from the usb. all I can tell you is that my mpc has upgraded ram and its blue lol...I really need help; much respect.

@ryanuchiiha I know on the MPC 2000 you can have one pad play up to 3 samples (or maybe only 2) simultaneously, check the manual for the 1000, it should be straightforward.

@ryanuchiiha MPC1000 is able of doing 4 samples per pad (i think even more)... I personally load two kicks on each pad in order to get tighter drums
