most of all madden is based on play calling. skynet will jump in at times, but if a particular play works againt another play, it doesn't matter what ratings are. EA should design success, atleast the franchise games, on practice and play calling. A user should have to prepare his team similar to real life football to be successful. EA assumes madden players are too lazy to pull up plays, practice and run drills--they might be right

I have a few ideas for the next madden installment. The first of my ideas is for the developers to step up there game on the graphics. Sure the players on the field look cool, but what about the fans, and the players on the sidelines? If the developers want it to look realistic they should make the players and the fans look like the people on the field. Also make these players and fans somewhat interactable. A good example would be a running back such as Peyton Hillis getting pushed out of boun

In the NFL, i dont care if you have perfect technique or not. If you get overpowered, you lose. Sure, Madden shouldn't improve drastically from Madden '10 to Madden '11, but the game has constantly been in production for over 20 years and they can't even get the ratings to work properly. They admitted with Madden '11, that agility and acceleration meant nothing in Madden '10. That was the whole reason for their locomotion feature. Why are their meaningless ratings? Take them out if they mean nothing.

We as the consumer are the only ones who can really put a stop to this practice. But then everyone just "needs" to have the new madden every year (I don't buy madden games btw). @rambocambo75 I didn't buy Madden 11. Probably won't buy Madden 12. Madden has become about as exciting as reading a textbook, but worse because there isn't any useful information to get out of it. They aren't getting the same high sales though. The sales are still high, but not the same. Madden '11 declined by 18% from Madden '10. They were in decline before that which is strange, because the NFL has been gaining popularity and so has video gaming.
