  • jesus.....

  • hnngh

  • Dear Santa...

  • гхм! *бать-копать!

  • That's 4x20mm cannon.

Planes like the tyhpoon, tempest, a few spitfires, f4u-c, and a few others had 2 in each wing but this looks a bit like the setup as found in the mosquito fighter.

  • @Icepacalapse Nope.. thats a triple mount of the Oerlikon.. but its still a madly powerful mount.

  • i can shoot that standing....ya fucken rt!!!!

  • bystander "did u get it?" gun operator "I'm not sure" bystander "fire a few hundred more rounds just to be sure"

  • Thats how you deer hunt!

  • yeah,....dont think id want to be on the receiving end of that.

  • Made in Spain!

  • @Semeiron

After the WW1, Hispano Suiza was totaly French and all factories was in France.

The HS404 canon was built in 1933, use on MS406 and Dewoitine 520 fighters: work vell between the "V" from the Hispano Suiza 12Y engine, but on the Spitfire and most the other british fighters, placed in the wings or nose , the Britishs take somemodifications, from pneumatic to electrical mechanism to avoid icing locks, and others improvings ...

  • I have one of these in my back garden.

  • Fucken Jesus.

  • Take that tweety bird!

  • Brilliant

  • this is what was in that 40lb box of rape

  • this is serbia

  • Every time that thing goes bang = ~$20

  • do u think if u stood in front of those cannons, you would be blown to shit?

  • I wonder if the ATF will let me own one of these?

  • unfortunately, this wouldn't put a dent in my girlfriends pms. now, that is scary shit.

  • me like!!!

  • dick went up

  • man the bullets travel slow

  • @reactri about 900M per second

  • all i seen was thousands of dollars flying down range lol

  • Dear santa...

  • Goes to show ya...take care of a well made weapon and it will last. And last....

  • *sound of an FW190 coming apart and screaming out of the sky...which wouldn't be too far off the mark, as this was a fighter's arsenal*

  • Dear Santa...

  • @gungasc ...

... I've been very good this year...

  • Holy shit!

  • I think we should put these on our Hummers lol

  • Fucking bad ass!!

  • P-38 Lightnings used the Hispano 20mm in the nose along with 4 50cal M-3's. That's some real power.

  • Ok sir, now shoulder your weapon and procede to fire.

  • What a truely beautiful sound

  • Wow this babies were mounted of ww2 Spitfires, that´s why nazis got screwed xD (specifically bf109 and fw190 pilots)

  • gonna get one for the zombie apocalypse

  • my dick moved

  • FARRRK!

  • Now THATS a anti-air gun! Fucking hell that thing went beast mode.

  • Spanish Power!!

  • Woah!

  • Rock and Roll

  • I bet the guy sitting on that has the biggest grin lol.

  • German 20mm MGFF - 540rpm, Hispano mk2 = 750 rpm, Mg151/20 800rpm, Hispano mk5 840rpm.

  • needs moar dakka

  • MAN THIS HAS TO COST MORE TO FEED THAM MY DOG

  • @TheGunguy1 i believe that barrage of ammo covered dog food for a year lol

  • I can only imagine the cost of the equipment and ammo used for this video...

  • PWNED!

  • yeah I'd say they're all dead.

  • "This cannon was mounted on the nose of the P38-Lightning with four 50cals overhead. No wonder it kicked so much ass in WWII."

  • @winnslaw And 2 of these cannons were mounted on early Spitfires, and 4(!) on the Hawker Hurricane, Typhoon and Tempest.

No wonder they kicked even more ass in WW2 ! (1 Hispano = 3 or 4 .50 cals)

(only winding you up , mate, but its true)

  • @Xiolablu3 the german cannons where better then these they had a higher firerate

  • @Mattebubben Nope, check out the Hispano 2 fire rate vs the German Mg151/20. Also the Hispano was more powerful as it fired a bigger cartridge. However the Hispano was heavier until 1944 when the mk5 was released.

  • If I had one of these, it would be mounted on a humvee, and remote controlled. Now thats what you call mobile anti-air.

  • Comment removed

  • @BAYAREA4150 i know of one who can getem.

  • So how many barrels are we seeing firing, it looks like 3 or more...? My grandfather fired a 20mm that was on his P38 with the 50 cals, and a 37mm in the Aircobra

  • @cobrachoppergirl the 20mm Hispano has 3 barrels.

  • thats so awesome!

  • @MRCRACKHEAD415 Not quite a foot long but its still human halfingly big bullet.

They should just stuff these fuckers with a tungsten/burning thermite core and use them as tank busters. Shoot the driver window or a track and the tank is out of action.

  • @Darien331 the military ammo is already anti tank, it be insane for an Incendiary round, althogh it does make me want one....

  • @D3ATHR3HAB Nah, back in WW2 they were already finding that 20mm wasnt effective enough against Panzers. Now against even as early as a T72, a 20mm wont be to effective. Even if they did have Tungsten cores, they wouldnt be able to take on the actual armour, they'd need to hit vital areas of a tank. Engine, tracks, driver windows.

To take on tanks armour, you need 25mm bushmasters rigged onto an LAVIII atleast.

  • @Darien331 ya think? fmj 50 cal will penatrate certain parts of tanks, i'd imagine a 20mm with 1200+ grain with fmj could penetrate 6" armour on tanks, wich is what some tanks max inch armour is, but i dont know i dont have any of this to try or be proven right or wrong :(

  • @D3ATHR3HAB Nah man, a .50 is effective against lightly armoured vehicles (HUMVV styled things) and fortified positions.

Even against light armour like a BMP3, a .50 will only be able to make mobility kills. Hitting the engine block or the tracks. But it will usually take more than one hit on a track link to break it.

  • @D3ATHR3HAB A 20 is probobly the same way, but much clumsier and more expensive, so the economic choice would be M2 Brownings, M107s and Tac50s rather than Anzio 20mm vulcan rifles and the beast in this video.

God I hate these fucking youtube character limits.

  • @MRCRACKHEAD415

20mm is less than an inch. ;)

  • HOLY CRAP!

  • Imagine being inside the tank these bullets are hitting. Would be like fuckin scary loud.

  • what is it ?

  • -Mom commies and nazis are invading again!!!!!!

-Ohhh my god this shit again, and why in sunday ????

Take the cannon, you know what to do.

    :D :D :D

"Every house in America need one of these"

  • Would the kiddy version shoot .50 BMG rounds?

  • major pain in tanks ass xD

  • not really, most tanks armor would simply bounce 20mm shells. but it would still scare the shit out of most people.

  • @haienbleurgh Depends on the ammo used and the quality of armor the tank has....

  • That is fucking awesome

  • uaoooooooooooooooooooo

  • mucha potencia , pero ese armamento que ya no es algo antiguo?

  • wow. i would want to be anywhere nere that.

  • it must have been terrifying for german pilots to have a mosquito at 6 o'clock... those things sported 4 of Hispanos + 3 3.03cal machine guns.

  • Hot.

  • What a lovely little fireworks. So romantic

  • holly shit

  • Holy shit I just came.

  • look up a sea wiz those things shoot out 100 rounds per 1.2 seconds!

  • reminds me of my cock

  • if your cock can shoot that ammo out dang u got on powerful cock

  • you wished you could do that with your cock

  • lol

  • lol

  • Zastava shooting testrange in Serbia!!!

  • the hispano was designed as an aircraft gun right?

  • I don't know if it was "designed" as an aircraft cannon, But it sure was used on a lot of them!

  • @CrotalusKid

Yes, it was in fact designed as an aircraft cannon. It was typically mounted in pairs (i.e. on the Spitfire, from the V through the rest of the series), but sometimes mounted singularly (d.520) or in quads (Hurricane IIc)

  • Put one of these on a scissor lift with a remote firing system and send them over to our FOB's in astan.

  • i want one

  • this is not the gun for small players

  • so how much money did you just waste?!

  • i wouldnt count that as wasting money

  • 1 question!!

hHow far do they shoot? 1 milles or how far????

  • they have a effective range of about 3000m....

  • I have a hard on right now.... O.O...

  • Comment removed

  • I've never wanted something more in my life....

  • The next pheasie shoot....

    'Ah, over and under'.

    'Yes sir.'

    'Very good.'

    'Now what the devils that'?

    'Triple barrelled 20mm Hispano sir.'

    'Splendid. Carry on.'

  • Epic comment

  • It must have been truely terrible to have been in a German bomber and for a beaufighter to suddenly open up on you in the pitch-black darkness with these.

  • i think the germans had something worse for the allied bombers.

  • Yea, those Hispanos are nothing compared to a pack of Mk108 or even Mk103s! Tears the aircraft literally into pieces

  • The 30mm's were badass, but consider that the 20's have a flatter trajectory, higher velocity, higher rate of fire, and better range. And the allied aircraft usually mounted around four of them. I think that would make up for the difference in explosive power.

  • True, I guess when a single 20mm cannon was considered to be 3.5 times as lethal as a 12,6mm MG then its going to be around the same ratio for 30vs20mm guns.

Anyway at the end of the war the Germans already had their MG213/MK213 (20mm/30mm) cannons underway. Would have been only a matter of time till the use of the first revolver type cannon in a fighter aircraft.

The Allies copied these two cannons in the form of the ADEN (UK), DEFA (France) and NR-30 (USSR)

  • About the 30mm cannons: It also strongly depends on the type we're talking about.

The Mk108 had poor ballistics due to the low muzzle velocity but a very high rate of fire for such a heavy weapon. It was also extremely light at just about 60kg!

The Mk103 on the other hand had excellent ballistics, as good or even better than 20mm cannons. In fact it had such good kinetic properties that it was used in the anti-tank role as well. However it was much heavier at almost 200kg and had a slower RoF.

  • Like to have one when my annoying postman comes home.

  • Mother of God.. Is every shell a tracer 'cause it looks like hosing.. And a twin Hispano shoots about 750 rpm x 2..? Looks fuckin' cool!

  • it's not twin, it's 3x20 mm

  • think its every 7th or so round..x3 cannons and they nearly fire as fast as Browning .50s :)....and just think, i dont they they had the explosive shells loaded..

  • thats what i call home defense

  • I need that.

  • LOL was that quad 20mm? cuz damn that was alot of Lead....FAST..awesome

  • i want this on christmas

  • i want one!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • It's . . . beautiful . . .

  • Holy crap!...

  • The solution to piracy: Install one on every merchant ship.

  • @CapnCoffee excellent idea but the idiots in charge will never do it as that involves THINKING!!!

  • @CapnCoffee + @spritz0 they wont let the people aboard merchant ships carry man-portable firearms, let alone go out of the way to attach 20mm cannons to the ships their aboard.

  • those were the guns on the spitfire in WWII hate to be in a german meschersmitt and get hit by that

  • I wouldnt want to be in a spitfire getting hit by 1x (Bf109) or 2x (FW190) Rheinmetall-Borsig Mk108 30mm cannon(s).

There wouldnt be enough to bury in a grave afterwards...

  • ya that would suck

but the spit fire had larger wings so it could out turn all the german planes

  • The Spitfire might have been the most maneuvrable fighter in the ETO but that didnt make it invincible.

The FW190 for example although markedly inferior in horizontal turning gave it a run for its money when they first met in early 1942 because it was a lot faster and better armed. The Bf109 also had its trumps over the Spitfire as it usually was faster and climbed better as well.

Not saying that the Spitfire is a bad fighter but its qualities are often blown out of proportion...

  • I totaly agree with you but the spitfire did help win the war

  • Dude! i dont mean to disrespect you!!but i dont think you know what are you talking about, England didnt have just the spitfire as a fighter they also had the hurricane and both had great guns, and above all they did help in war , protecing the channel from Ju88, before saying such thing, get some more info.

  • I think you dont have a clue here

Jason was talking about the Spitfire outturning German fighters to which I said that turning alone wasnt everything

You really need to read the comments first before posting your smart ass, half assed remarks

  • Tracers , I love it.

  • IS this 3X20mm? I personally like the Russian ZSU in 2X23mm!

  • ive gotta better idea put some albanians in front of the gun heheheheh

  • why dont we put you infront of the gun?

  • the Fw-190A8 had 4 of those in the wing plus 2 12.75 machine guns on the top of the engine

  • This is not the guns installed in the FW190 A8These were the options available. 2x MG131 13x64mm 475 rpg

    2x MG151/20 20x82mm 250 rpg

    2x MG151/20 20x82mm 140 rpg

    Optional Loadouts

    2x Mk 108 30x90mm 60 rpg

    1x 250kg bomb

    1x 500kg bomb

    1x 80gal drop tank

    2x WGr.21 rockets

  • ok!! you got a point!! and i know about this, the spitfire, seafire, hellcat, bearcat were installed with this paticular firepower.although in some versions the fw 190 had 4 german 20mm cannos at the wing plus machine guns.

  • Neither the Hellcat nor the Bearcat had 20mm cannons in their standard fighter armament. Only specially equipped night fighter variants had a pair (F6F) or 2 pairs of 20mm cannons (F8F).

The Typhoon and Tempest also had Hispanos, Mk.II and Mk.V respectively.

The FW190 had 4x20mm cannons + 2 MGs from the A-3 to the A-9 although the specific type of the 20mm and calibre of the MGs could vary with the version (13mm MGs from the A-7 onwards for example).

  • look man !! do you know what standards means??Cause i dont think you do!! with alldo respect!! i also agree about the F6F but , if you get some more info about it you will find out that some version of bouth planes were equiped 20mm cannons, Hellcat and Bearcat.Did you know that in some tempest had 2 47mm cannons on their wings? see you around

  • I've been studying WWII for over 10 years now and know my stuff, so dont try to teach me!

As said, yes there were 20mm equipped versions of the F6F and F8F but most or all of them were night fighters, not regular daytime fighters. Those were equipped with 4x or 6x.50CALs almost exclusively.

So there we have it, .50CALs being STANDARD on the F6F and F8F

The Tempest with a pair of Vickers P 47mm cannons was a single test aircraft, the weapon never went into production. Where's that STANDARD?

  • ok!! i m not trying to teach no one here, we are simply sharing information in here about what you and i know. Now about your friend up there, about what i have said to him.I can say whatever i want in here. got that!!!

  • You might state your opinion freely, its just that your tone and way of talking to people is not at all welcome!

  • As i said!! i respect every single person in here. Now you said i might!!!???? i can i will alwyas share whatever i want as many times i want. AND i dont care if my comments are not welcome by YOU OR YOUR littel friend is that CLEAR??

  • "i dont think you know what are you talking about...before saying such thing, get some more info"

"look man !! do you know what standards means??Cause i dont think you do"

Is that what you call respectfully? Because if yes, I suggest reading up on that term via a dictionary

PS: Writing in really big letters doesnt make you look any smarter, it just adds to your continuous punctuation and spelling errors

  • first and always i write the way i want it, doenst concern you or anybdy. And its not really big letters!! its capital!!! now i recomend you to read your dictonary if you have one?i can go even futher!! go back to school!!

  • Someone doesnt know sarcasm there, oh my...

But then I guess you wouldnt notice it if it hit you right in the face

  • very smart of you!! coming up with sacarsm!! hahahhahhahaha oh my !! i m talking to a comedian.look i hope we done with this coments.

  • What the hell is an F8F? Grumman made an F4F wildcat,F6F hellcat, F7F tigercat

  • The F8F is the Bearcat, has the same engine as the Hellcat but is lighter, climbs better, is a lot faster and largely inspired by the captured FW190A5 that was shipped to the US for evaluation.

Didnt see any combat in WWII, only just a little with the French in Indochina

  • thanks,I just looked it up.Too bad it did come into service a little sooner. From what I read the top speed was about the same as the vougt f4u but could climb 50 mph faster and could turn a little tighter

  • hellcat was never equipt with cannons

  • it's a shame we gotta share this planet with racist shitheads...

  • It's a fact of life, dude. You have to show you are better with your ideas and your beliefs than them. If, however, you decide to commit genocide like them, you become them.

  • true

  • aaah these sounds...

  • search video: this AA-gun in wrill action..

Danish UN-Forces on border Crotia and Bosnia in 1995

  • Is this 3x20mm or 2x20mm???

  • there wouldn't be much of a deer left lol, just chunks of it

  • im going deer hutning with one of these

  • lol

  • Crikey.

  • Hell Yeah

  • I just found my new rabbit gun....
