If you like something, buy it to show support. If you don't like something, then don't buy it. By buying it you show support to the studios. Army of Darkness is one of my all time favorite Comedy/Horror movies ever (along with House 1, 2 , 4, High Spirits and Elvira: Mistress of the Dark). It's funny that people still don't know what "Comedy/Horror" means. This film was fantastic. Visual effects were great. Bruce Campbell showed brilliant acting 4 this kind of films. Embeth Davidtz was awesome. Other characters (Wiseman, Duke the Red, Possessed Witch) were no less inpressive. My lovely Bridget Fonda deserved more screen time though

It's both. Part 3 is mostly just a slap-stick movie. But Part 1 and 2 are both. Sometimes horror movie but often making fun of the horror genre at the same time. Not with bad jokes but with all the scenes.
