@lisha945 Yes this is definitely not the type of hair that I would suggest coloring. Sealing the wefts before application is important and I did experience a lot of shedding in the beginning.
@sonyea01 I did not do a lot of cutting and I do not remember for sure about sealing the wefts. I was not consistently sealing wefts until 2011 so there is a chance that I did not seal these before creating the wig.

I love Goddess Remy gold...pretty good BSS hair...much better than Saga but close in price. At my local Bss I paid $80 a pack for 16 inch which is ok.

@Tolulope86 Halley's Curls Salon Relaxed is the best yaki texture yet...it does not like sweat and will become stiff when it need to be washed. With regular wear it HAS to be washed weekly but responds well to a good shampoo and becomes free flowing again. I really did enjoy the Goddess Remi that I reviewed in this video but just wish that it kept curl longer.
Sorry, but i disargee i currently have the Sensational Goddess Remi 8 and 10 inche. And I love it, I've had it in for 2 in a hlf months and I absoulutely love it. Mind you that this is only my second sew-in-weave, I've ever gotten. So my experience on takening care of a weave is very limited. I've never gotten a tangle or alot of shedding. This is the best Remi hair by far. So, this is completely false sorry.
@shirellemone128 I am not sure which comment you are responding to. I enjoyed this hair and liked the way it responded to washing and conditioning. The longer the hair the more likely it is to tangle so a 8 and 10 inch are great lengths for lessening the likelihood that hair will tangle (given proper care and not excessively cutting the wefts). The more you wear wefts you will be able to compare. I've used several brands and I definitely like the Goddess Remi as a store bought option.
i have this same hair. this hair has never tangled up on me in a ball on the back of my head. I wear a little over a whole pack in my hair and i wear it every single day. I can keep my hair for atleast 4 and no more than 6 months. I wash it every week with just conditioning shampoo i wash each extension individually an rinse it and then i let it sit out separately to air dry. When i straighten it after its dry it feels really soft and i have no problems. I high recomend wouldnt get anything else

If the cuticle is supposedly "intact" and in the "same direction" should it not be impossible for it to tangle? I wonder how many of these top brands are simply highly processed hair with the cuticle stripped off and chemically modified not to tangle. I think many are.

For sure, once "remy" became a popular term everyone started putting it on their packages although they do not all provide the same quality. Another good reason to search for reviews before purchasing hair.

@SiimplyGawgeouz1 Remy means that the hair cuticle is in the same direction which causes less tangling. It does not indicate the texture of the hair or where the hair is from. Do you have hair companies that you like? Always open to learning about new hair companies that provide quality hair.

@blackscenechicks I don't know. I talked to a retailer and was told that the company got so popular that they stopped being so strict on their quality control. He said a lot of the new packages are not the same quality as the original and for that reason, he has started carrying other brands.

@thbic2010 Hi there! I used a large barrel curling iron instead of the flat iron (which is what I usually use). For this length 1 in or 1.5 in barrel will yield a wavier look (opposed to spiral curls).

I feel so bad that I am not able to be more direct in answering the question. Its not the Indian or the Virgin (from looking at the website) so it would have to be the Original Luxury Remi.
What I would suggest to anyone that if they want to get a cheaper price on her especailly online, do what I do. I go to my local beauty supply store and feel the hair. I look at the shedding and texture and all that and then I look online for a cheaper price. Sometimes it works out better that way. Just a thought.

@yudelkalachicalinda This is a full wig so none of my hair is out. My edges are naturally thin so it doesn't take much to lay them down. There are many companies that produce edge tamers, for example Hicks Total Transformations Smooth Edges, but they often do not last all day long.
@dsouthgirl1 I have a video on curling hair (check out the "hair" playlist on my channel page). Basically, I curled it in alternative directions so it would look uniform. This is the look I get when I don't curl it every night (the curls dropped).

@yudelkalachicalinda This is a full wig so none of my hair is out. My edges are naturally thin so it doesn't take much to lay them down. There are many companies that produce edge tamers, for example Hicks Total Transformations Smooth Edges, but they often do not last all day long.

@dsouthgirl1 I have a video on curling hair (check out the "hair" playlist on my channel page). Basically, I curled it in alternative directions so it would look uniform. This is the look I get when I don't curl it every night (the curls dropped).

@iPinkiLoveu I keep Bobbi Boss Indi Remi on rotation. It is shiner than I want it to be but I love the quality. I also just ordered from Halley's Curls-they may end up being my staple b/c they are always having a sale.
