  • i have a 2002 mercury grandmarquis with glass packs how much would he charge to put me some magna flows with the cat back pipes on the back im here in the south but i could drive out there or get my car shipped there so your guy can do the work get back with me immediately when you get this message

  • Is that the stock Charger startup? Because I like it! How can you get it like that if it isn't the stock startup?

  • Sounds like an SUV alright.

  • sounds like a beast!

  • lol taking up 2 spaces LIKE A BOSS

  • im comin to steal ur ride lol jk

  • Pure class, nice machine man.

  • sounds much better but i think u have a timing issue with the way she starts .but it sound way better than the back fire video im curious to know what all you did to fix the backfire issue and i like the way these muffle make ur car sound beautiful car you are a very very lucky guy!!!

  • Nice, how much has the interior resonance been cut down? I have a pair of unknown Magnaflows with turn downs and its louder INSIDE than it is out. Gives me a damn headache on the freeway.

  • @ramcharger1000 ------ I too miss my old 77 Plymouth trail duster, she had a 400 BB and side spitting turbo muffed 2.5" exhaust with cheap headman hedders... lovely beast, I miss her.

  • nice sound

  • This would be have to be the best sound ive found so far that i would like to put for my '65 Galaxie LTD. It has a 352, and will soon have a mild cam, similar sounding to what your car has, and i would like it to have a good performance sound, but without the resonance inside as well. What exactly does it have? 50 Series Flowmaster and what Magnaflow resonators? any part item numbers?

  • @B1Springfield ------- Flowmaster 50 suv mufflers and 14" Magnaflow 4" dia. resonators upstream of the FM's as best I can recall, I still think it resonates too much but that may be specific to my charger, you could always try the resonators in the more traditional downstream of the FM's position... I think that might be better for anti resonance.

  • YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @ramcharger1000 I demnad videos! >:(

  • fuck u vitec and the shit kiked in yo hahaha

  • maganaflow sounds to mutch like a ricer or honda FLOWMASTER ALL THE WAY BABBY

  • That is different.

  • I LOVE MOPAR, CHARGER, AND HEMI TOO

  • i love it all

  • Sounds pretty nasty

  • general lee is awesome!

  • I love this car!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Do you put the resonator before or after the Flowmasters to get rid of interior noise?

  • @88BroughamLS ---- I put them in ahead of the 50's, but I think they would be better behind... I plan to dynamat the rest of the trunk and look at the gas tank mounting, I think something is wrong with it causing all the noise. I will take off the resonators when I put on the headers after fixing the other stuff... I'll keep you posted on the results.

  • Turbosigns, Dude....it sounded better before you installed the Magnaflow resonators!...I really loved the sound of the Flowmaster 50 Series SUV mufflers by themselves, without adding the resonators, but oh well, it's your car!

  • @1aceves --- Yup, the resonators are coming off when the headers go on, and I think the problem is the gas tank mounting, the sound is just freakin deafening.

  • das noch nen echter motor ohne technik wix

  • @nascarnate3 HUH? a chevy engine? the only way to get a bigblock mopar to 454 would be to overbore a 400 block .030" over and run a 440 crank cut down to fit the mains. That technicaly would be like a 453.5 I think, but close enough to call it 454. The 400 stroker I have is over by .060" making it a 456, so is that close enough for ya?

  • Wish I had a General Lee Replica. But oh well, at least I have the horns on my truck! Haha.

  • @GitRDoneDaleJr That's cool enough for me! I've got a set of General Lee vector rims with the chevy bolt pattern 5 lug... I think they'de look cool on your chevy!

  • I'll have to check that out and see. Right now I need to fix some wiring on my horns, it keeps blowing the fuse, and then I gotta buy matching HID's for my fogs. And then hopefully I can get some rims.

  • @turbosigns I had the vectors with the chev pattern on my 69' baha bug. It looked wicked. Your General looks&sounds great by the way.

  • sounds good but glasspacks with true duals would really make her talk

  • I have to agree with this statement... The general was typicaly dual glasspack on the show, and sounds correct for this car. I plan to put magnaflows on it as soon as the stroker motor goes in with the full length headers, the idle may be less impressive, but the full rip WOT will sound wonderfull.

  • cool horn

  • This sounds ok... if it's going to be your daily driver! Otherwise, it sounded WAY better before, when you had the Flowmaster 40's on it. 4" pipes is getting a little carried away. It ain't a diesel. A good 3" system with long tube headers and a couple of full-flow Flowmasters usually does the trick on a powerplant such as yours. A bit off topic, but dude, you should hear my 1986 Chevy 350 in my off-road 4x4 truck. Long tube headers and 3" straight pipes, no mufflers. The truck sounds amazing!

  • the pipes are 2.5inch diameter... the resonators are 4" bodies, and I think the headers will change everything for the better once I get them on this winter.

  • time to upgrade starter hahaha

  • yup... high torque mini starter is waiting in the parts bin...

  • 72fasterthanyou it's not hugger orange it's 75 corvette flame red but nice try!

  • wrong. the color was whatever kept the camera rolling, may have been hugger orange, hemi orange, corvette flame red, and, also.. according to Wayne Wooten of the Dodge Charger Registry & Tom Sarmento & the late great Rich Sephton, no 1970 Chargers were used. engines were 318's, 383's. & 440's the #35 Ski Car, has a 318 engine in it, used to be a 1968 Slant six I believe. and the doors were never really welded shut. TV make believe...

  • mickeybc your vin number is wrong that is not the first lee 1 number. Sorry buddy. it's off by a letter and a number. the show used 68/69/70 chargers cutting out tail light panels and grills depending on the year to match the 69. But hey cool vid gotta love a mopar!

  • nice

  • On Friday, August 1, 1969, the first ever Dodge Challenger rolled off of the assembly line for sale as a 1970 model year. No such thing as a 69 Challenger. :-)

  • 1st general lee ("Lee 1") serial number....XP29H9D193670

    X - Charger (B body)

    P - Premium trim level

    29 - 2 door sports hardtop

    H - 383 1-4BBL 8 Cylinder "B" engine (High Performance)

    9 - 1969

D - Belvedere, Illinois (assembled in)

    193670 - sequence

    It was in fact a 1969 charger with a 383 4bbl high performance...not a 68 mocked up to look like a 69 .

  • all be honest this made me tear up watching its been my dream since i was 9 to own a 1969 dodge charger/ general lee but i will never have enought money to own one any one want to help me out lol

  • haha tell me when you find some1 who wants to help out, i'm in the same situation as you =)

  • beautiful car by the way

  • for all you Mopar fans...bet you didn't know that the Genal is wearing Chevy's very own Hugger Orange. Ha ha. Go Chevy!

  • oops i meant General

  • but the General Lee was a Challenger....

  • no it wasnt..

  • Actually the general was a Challenger.

  • Acturally you need to get your facts straight. The Challenger was never out til 1970. The General Lee was and always will be A Dodge Charger. It was a 1969 Dodge Charger With the 440 magnum, and Welded doors shut. Lmfao your an idiot

  • It didn't have a 440 magnum in the movie, was a 383 dumbass.

  • It seems you think the movie that came out the few years ago was the main thing. The Dukes of Hazzard was a tv show way before there ever was a movie. the Show ran from 1979 to 1985

  • I own all the 6 seasons idiot.

  • which makes me laugh even harder since you thought the car was a challenger

  • Including season 7? Fag. ¬.¬

  • so do i and waitin' for season 7

  • I myself only have season 1 to 4... I guess I should get the rest just to be up to date. I realy like the first season shows shot in Georgia, they're the best!

  • ask me it a 440 Magnum

  • It's a warmed up 383 with all the edelbrock go fast bits... all of them.

  • Nope

  • so exciting

  • lol yeaa it scared mee i was fallin asleep

  • lol love the horn at the end lol

  • excellent work!

  • Magnaflow for sure dude

  • nice, dukes rule.

  • if i want my camaro 1970 z28 to sound like a monster what do u think i should put?magnaflow or flowmaster? which one is louder?

  • flowmaster

  • go with spintech of magnaflow

personal preference, but flowmaster gets a "bassy" sound.

magnaflows and spintechs get a crisp throaty sound.

  • love the horn :)

  • the horn scared the crap out of me

  • why of course..she darns my socks and dresses me real smart and if im very good she lets me eat my dinner at the tv im such a lucky boy!

  • Yeh dude..who parked it..yer old dear??

  • I parked it so the back pointed toward the rollup door of the shop, that way the camera and tripod stayed out of the rain.

  • Fair enough mate...i'm green with envy, take good care of her she's the stuff of dreams!

  • lol..WHAT ABOUT YER! ol' dear? Do YOU have an old dear? lol

  • This sounds good but I think I liked the 40's better :). It's not bad, don't get me wrong :P

  • yea i hav to agree one of the sexiest cars in the world dont get me wrong but yea the 40's sounded ALOT BETTER please put the 40's on it again lol please :D

  • the flowmaster 40's sounded better. these just muffle the sound

  • That my man, is a piece of work! well done for bringing this classic muscle car back from the brink!

She sounds and looks awesome! :-D

  • i bet it would feel good just to tap that gas pedal with the tip of my toes

  • I would have removed the mufflers and not used dronemasters at all, that's why it's so loud inside. You should just use 14" Magnaflow mufflers which are straight through so they don't restrict flow like dronemasters do with chambers, and they're fairly quiet even without cats in the exhaust, just a deep rumble you'd love how toned it would sound.

What's the rest of the setup? If you dont have a crossover then get one welded in it'll make it even deeper and quieter and add torque at all speeds.

  • Very nice and it sounds great.

  • damn she purrs

  • PORN PURE PORN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Let's see... I spent nearly $70k to fully restore an otherwise rusted hulk that was ready to be destroyed. I figured I was not doing any disservice to the collector industry by restomoding a junk 318 se with nothing matching. So after I die and my widow sells you this wonderfull car for peanuts you can take the stickers off or paint it any color you like. And please watch your language here on you tube. Didn't your mother tell you not to say anything at all unless you have something nice to say?

  • Just busted one

  • LOL, it doesn't need mufflers, it needs 3 inch straight pipes!

  • Hey Turbosigns, next time take that video camera and pass it through and around. I think we would enjoy it more than listing to the V8.

  • These vids were just to show some of my mope buddies what the different muffler combos sounded like, I had no idea so many people would watch and listen!

  • Do you ever actually drive the car?

  • Once in a while on the weekends, mostly to and from places it gets worked on... like the exhaust shop for headers and the carb tuning guy. It's cold and rainy lately so no pleasure trips for a few months, but I am building a 451 low deck stroker motor with an XE275HL comp cam with ported aluminum RPM heads that should be in the car in under a year. 500 horse power here I come! oh yeah, then a over/under drive from gear vendors for the freeway and some 411's in the rear... YEHAW!

  • '64 Hemis were fastest quarter mile dodges in the entire muscle car era. Pretty crazy, huh?

  • Prodegy524 Probley owns a Honda or something ha ha go to hell u rice burner nothing beats the General!!

  • love that car !!!

  • meanest car ever.... period

  • DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • lol gotta love that horn lol

  • It is a 383 big block, it has EB aluminum heads, EB RPM intake, EB high lift cam, Holley 700CFM double pumper and 2.5" DIA dual exhaust through MF Gpacks and Flowmaster 50's.

  • well a 440 will not rev that high at all, it makes all its power at alot lower rpms, so hemi:)

  • Beautiful.

  • Took a min to start there, it was either cold or the timing was off, but other then that it is a great sounding car.

  • This car reminds me about my childhood. So many memories....

  • my favourite car woooow, i wish i had one

  • Wow this sounds perfect!

  • The beauty is that the interior noise level is greatly reduced... NO DRONING! I can drive long freeway miles in comfort and not get a headache! And it still sounds mean and throaty!

  • wow great car!

    wheres daisy?

  • i love american muscle cars, but gas is becoming a bitch, i got a northstart 4.6 cadillac and i tought that wastes a lot, im sure these cars waste a lot more, if gas was $2 a gallon i would get one of these

  • Well... you sure would not want this car as your daily driver. And this car runs on premium! $5.60 a gallon right now! But that will not keep me from driving and enjoying this car as much as possible.

  • are you kidding? with the amount of tail you could get with that car it wouldn't matter if gas was $10 a gallon

  • i dont really mind my 74 gto gets good gas mileage and its $4.50 down here in florida

  • sounds like 383 or 360

  • 383, eddies heads, CI HP manifolds, 650 demon, weiand intake, CC hot street cam, (BTW the cam and distributor were messed up and making the car run sick in this vid)

  • nice car though. really sounds good but prob sounds better now... really nice car... 383 good motor...flip that 650 to a 750...feed thoses heads...msd billet with 7al or 6ab box would be a good fit for ignition

  • The carb, intake, distributor and cam have all been changed since this video... The carb is now a 700CFM holley mechanical secondary double pumper on an Edelbrock RPM manifold with Edelbrock high lift cam. Runs like a different engine! I will have to run a stall converter with the bigger cam, but... Who cares!!!! It'll run like mad, and shred rubber all day! I can't wait to get it back from Ace Fuel!

  • cool get us new video....love the horn

  • By the way, this video was shot behind the local police officers association building! They've got a big screen plasma TV, a kegerator, and the biggest American flag I have ever seen! The flag must weigh a couple hundred pounds alone! The rowdy SWAT team boys and the firefighters just love the General!

  • But one night when they had a meeting the General was smoking so badly on startup they came out to see what was wrong! Then they had to open up all the doors to air out the place, everyones eyes were watering and they said they could TASTE the raw fuel! LOL, poor guys, I felt pretty bad about that one!

  • Well, this is what Cooter Davenport and Travis Bell recomended, I trust their judgement, not their sanity, just their judgement.

    Keep 'er 'tween the ditches!

  • you parked crooked

  • yes, but I park consistently crooked... keeps Roscoe on his toes.

  • LOL keeps roscoe on his toes :}

  • your car could sit there not even running and still sound good, because its the GENERAL LEE

  • the ending was the best part. lol

  • now thats a beuty
