Use of the f-bomb is immature and a non-starter in our conversations. We can't approve your full comment (as submitted), but you can resubmit.

    SUGGESTION:

Learn (today) how epithets become epitaphs for your involvement in a rational online dialog. We suspect that your habits of deliberate ignorance and complete disrespect will mark you as a potential Darwin Award candidate. Good luck with that.

Polio vaccinations = Good for most, good for eradicating polio.

    GMO = BAD. Period.

    . seedsofdeception . com

If GMO food production is a "closely regulated industry", then the standard is much too low.

@KCFoodCircle " the current restrictions on plant and animal research (pertaining to development of GMO/GE foods) are much too loose for an adequate level of public safety" Are you f... (deleted)

  • there are series consequences of GMO foods that contain high levels of pesticides..

these mimic estrogen in the body (xenoestrogens) and create estrogen pool overload which eventually makes women have cystic breasts, ovaries, and a very painful disease called endometriosis , these symptoms will mostly likely cause infertility long term if not cause breast or uterus cancers..

thanks again goes to our 'public servants' for poisoning us and shortening our lives.. GMO is bascially eugenics.. !

  • its a world wide breeding process Brother

you have educated me and I am on different soil

    thank you

  • Corn Bad ! Why do you think Mayans vanished Hmmm?Keep eating corn and become a sick diebetic.

  • @wxyzca2000 was your comment aimed at all corn in general? or just gmo corn?

  • |SWE| Gmo är framtiden. Seriöst, varför ska man inte kunna producera mer snabbare till den snabbt ökande befolkningen?

    |ENG| GMO is the future. Seriously, why shouldn't we NOT be able to produce more food quicklier to the rapidly increasing population?

  • @Toffelkungen - The planet will not be able (and should not be pressed that far) to support some "9 billion people", no matter how "efficient" our crop production. There will be LESS arable land soon, LESS fresh water for crops... and the fossil-fuel-based fertilizer and pesticides and INFRASTRUCTURE required to maintain GMO crops is being depleted faster and faster every year. In one hundred years, we have gone thru HALF the world's oil supply. BALANCE is key, as unlimited GROWTH is a myth.

  • we DO NOT WANT your GMO foods in KANSAS

    GET OUT NOW

    does rice burn easily?

  • i've been thinking on this GMO crap happening and I've decided that anyone affiliated with the release of GMO's into our environment should be prosecuted. Cross-pollination isn't a myth. Oh, and horizontal gene transfer has been proven to occur. Wouldn't this be tantamount to bioterrorism or something just a serious?

  • We need to tell our legislators, first, that the current restrictions on plant and animal research (pertaining to development of GMO/GE foods) are much too loose for an adequate level of public safety. We can't prosecute for things that are not yet a crime.

Yes, I agree - it is not a long stretch to call what is going on now "bio-terrorism" and we've allowed it to happen to ourselves. The public needs to speak out and demand change, now.

  • "t is not a long stretch to call what is going on now "bio-terrorism" and we've allowed it to happen"

i prefer calling it 'genetic pollution'

the strongarm tactics used by monsanto et al against small farmers do border on terror, but thats i different ball o wax

excellent vid. thanks. farmers need to be heard

  • @KCFoodCircle hi from Taiwan. It's US gov't scheme that wanna wipe out Chinese since Beijing seemed greened light on GMO rice already. I saw many discussions on internet by Mainland Chinese..... it seemed to be part of NWO

  • Clarification about CORN SYRUP

HFCS (High-Fructose Corn Syrup) contains a naturally-occuring enzyme which fools our body's normal "I'm done" sensor. Avoid it and protest the broad use of it, and producers will use less of it or switch to regular sugars. This has been accomplished in other countries - we can do it, too.

Processing of HFCS "kills" most of the bad GMO, so far as we know (right now...). Small comfort, I know.

Read books by Jeffrey M. Smith and be ALERT!!

  • Clarification on "DUST" from GMO produce from the farm:

The "DUST" that Lee refers to is grain dust or friction-"flour" left over from transferring the product from field to processor.

The GMO-laden dust must be CLEANED from the trucks and from any other equipment that may eventually be used to move NON-GMO products, else the testing facility may find the remains of GMO dust in every load - in this case, the tarp alone held enough dust to cause the sensors to mark the ORGANIC load as GMO.

  • its sad that almost all seeds come from the seed bank and are gmo,s

  • What about High Fructose corn syrup is it bad for the human body can it be proven to be safe like all the television commercials have America believing. I feel that it is man made and hard for the body to digest. Is it addictive does it cause health concerns over time, can it be proven that High Fructose corn syrup is safe. Why would most heath food stores carry products listed in bold "No High Fructose Corn Syrup" if it wasn't a threat?

  • GMO is not the real problem it is how they use GMO.

  • i 2nd that

  • Thank you to all the Organic Farmers who care enough about our food sources to try and preserve it. Yes we must at least have GMO products labeled. Most people do not have any idea that they may be consuming GMO. Public Education is mandatory to protect our food sources in this country.

  • Yes, it is a hard life. Policy change must happen to protect these (relatively) small organic growers from legislation which protects the larger (subsidized) operations.

GMO education is happening in leaps and bounds, and changes may come quicker as oil and other resources become less affordable. Keep up the good work, people.

  • He mentioned GMO DUST??? GMO's create a DUST on the tarp? Whats that about? It sounds more like something sprayed on the crop rather then grown in it?

    Anyone test this dust?

You cannot contain this stuff, I wish it would go away, its probrobly killing the bees too.

Eww they combine stuff from fish or animal creatures in the food supply?

There had to be a reason God didn't.

  • I'm a consumer who wants all GMO labeled.I'm angry that we still don't have labels and I'd guess we still don't have them yet b/c I believe the chem. companies selling this crap wouldn't make enough profit. I'm disgusted with our Gov't.'s complicity in this lack of labeling requirement. I'm angry that our true non-biased,independent scientists don't get the serious attention that those scientists who are paid for by chem.companies get.I believe in the independents as they don't profit by lying.

  • Truth in Labeling

The big movers and shakers out there keep attacking our right to know what is in our foods. The best way to fight them off is to stay in touch with your legislators and STAY VIGILANT. We've fought too hard in the past to let them take away our protections and rights as consumers.

  • We trusted these farmers when we put their food on our table every night. They know these GMO experiment been going on since the 90's.

The farmers are just as bad for not speaking out or telling us the facts.

  • Great pressure is put on growers who buy into the GMO/"conventional" crop production methods. Many are just trying to survive (for years, now) the political/economical forces which put them in such a bind. We must be careful how we judge those who find themselves between a rock and a hard place.

  • GMO is often done to make the plant resistant to pesticides and herbicides. The result is that what you buy in the produce isle contains chemicals, some of which you can't wash off. Dangerous!

  • GMO is not God-given food.

  • Totally agree...if only we could make it all"go away" This stuff has never been tested properly. Unnatural, unneccessary and unsafe!

  • I agree, I have never heard of a study of GMO foods that was not rigged, that ever provided information of them being safe.

  • So right.

  • Anyway... it's just wrong to put potentially dangerous plant varieties into the mix, making guinea pigs of whole populations of people. Let the genome gnomes test the stuff on themselves if they think it's so safe.

  • GMO giants such as Monsanto are making the Philippines one of its biggest guinea pig test site, bribing governments into distributing GM corn and rice in smallholder farms.
