Sorry Man if i sound daft but is your LR3 40 Series or a 2.2 its just hard to tell i saw the MOA's and thought maybe a super ?

They're 2.2 Axial Rock Lizards and those are axial axles so they're shaft driven! What you saw I think was the servo and battery on the front axle! ;)
