  • Op 24 juli 2008 bezocht ik als pelgrim de tentoonstelling "De Castrojeriz a Brujas" te Castrojeriz. Nadien had ik nog een leuke babbel met de blinde Andrea in een plaatselijk restaurantje.Ze kon verschillende talen vloeiend spreken waaronder het Engels. Ze was gids in de tentoonstelling Ze vroeg me dan ook honderduit over Vlaanderen, Brugge en de andere kunststeden. Ze wou lerares Engels worden... prachtig toch... hoe mensen ondanks hun handicap niet bij de pakken blijven zitten.
