Eh, I don't care for this version. It lacks some of the power you can put into this song. I think there was just one part of this entire performance that truly had charisma and style, and that point lasted for all of 10 seconds. Will is probably great at what he does, this just isn't his song.
Heis vibrato is very well developed, however he uses it WAY too often. Also, the lengths of his notes are pretty much opposite from the original. I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much.
Wioll Young is just so heavenly to look at in this video. He is so such a swing singer he's got the moves, the looks, the cheeky boy charm, he's just such a brilliant natural performer I love him!

Haha. Listen to the songs they sang 50 years ago. They were much better than this kid. You obviously don't have a very acute sense of hearing if you think what this guy is doing is the same as what they did 50 years ago. If what you're referring to is vibrato then they still do that nowadays. It's just his vibrato makes him sound almost like a sheep.

Didn't really watch Pop Idol till big band week and my sister kept telling me to watch to see how good Will is. Being the skeptic I watched with my highly critical hat on and was enchanted by this performance. With hardly any professional outings and then to deliver such a vocal........I became an instant fan.
Ah BIG BAND week on Pop Idol one. How I loved this and still do. Also love 'I won't dance,' which is, as well as BTS, is on The Big Band album ( for anyone that might not know.) WiLLs vocals are amazing on it.
Off topic, I'm so looking forward to album number 4, wonder what will be on it and wonder just when will it be released?

Maybe you need to be there to be out and proud and to try to change attitudes. 14 years ago I worked in Orange County CA for 2 yrs and was totally out and met with no homophobia so its not everybody everywhere of course. Its religion and mid america who seem to call the shots and till they drag their asses into the 21st C I guess it will not really change. Shame on Obama as a minority himself he should simply know better.

And I must admit that I've met many gay people who I would leave my boyfriend for, merely because they were such good people.

No, no, no. Marriage between two zoophiles is forbidden. Unfortunately, they are allowed to enter into a same-sex partnership, but they still can't marry each other or abuse children by adopting, either.

Didn't really watch Pop Idol till big band week and my sister kept telling me to watch to see how good Will is. Being the skeptic I watched with my highly critical hat on and was enchanted by this performance. With hardly any professional outings and then to deliver such a vocal........I became an instant fan.

Ah BIG BAND week on Pop Idol one. How I loved this and still do. Also love 'I won't dance,' which is, as well as BTS, is on The Big Band album ( for anyone that might not know.) WiLLs vocals are amazing on it.
