I dont mind what I ahve really, intel cores are generaly faster and more powerfull with more mem cache at lower frequencies while AMDs are generally much more stable and overclockable, although now is not the case as some guy on youtube maneged to overclock an i7 to 4.5GHz (water cooled) and was averaging around 80-100 frames per second on FarCry 2 with a GTX985 2Gb card (all settings ultra high) so that kicks AMDs arse but the newest AMD chip will run 10-20 'C lower on full load than i7
