  • but still poor animal so loud musik so dirty its probably in the pool!!!

  • cool.

  • The world is so cruel, these poor beautiful dolphins are literally dying to entertain you! Anyone reading this who loves dolphins please please watch 'THE COVE'

  • Seaquariums show nothing but death

  • schönes Video - genau so haben wir es auch erlebt und ähnlich gefilmt.

    Weiter so

    Werner

  • @MrWerner1948 es sieht zwar nett aus aber meinst du echt, dass es den tieren dort gut geht?vor allem den walen?ich bezweifel es...ich finde das eher traurig

  • Could I use this in a video I'm making?

  • I have no obligations against dolphins or whales in captivty because I love shamu but I am disgusted about the conditions these animals live in. At seaworld Shamu's tank is 100 feet by 200 feet and is 36 feet deep. Lolitas tank is only 20 feet depp its like watching free willy all over again!

  • this place look like trash, nasty poor animals that people on the administration I'm almost sure they have to be hispanic, I don't understand why my people don't take care of this beautiful country all the cities with a lot of latino population have to look bad

  • @julianic81 they're American The park's general manager, Andrew Hertz (the son of the park's owner, Arthur Hertz), but thanks for having to say something so dumb...the most important thing is getting something done to have her atleast moved to a much larger sea pen...from there they'll be able to determine if she is capable of adapting in the wild

at the very least she would have a few years of being free again

  • @DvsBen88 ok

  • mami seaquarium is THEE worst aquarium ever. They even have a secret testing facility beind the sealion dome with dolphins and seal lions etc in individual little pools to see if they will even live.

  • It's the same show every time. Just look at other videos.

  • I have no problem with captivity if they are being given the love and dedication and time they need....but come on, at least give them enough swimming space....all those animals in one tank!! I can see that take maybe as a small dolphin tank (even that is still small) but a 22ft long killer whale?!?!?!? You have got to be kidding me!

  • I feel terribly sorry for Lolita and those dolphins.

I do not know, how you think about this, but to me, it looks likey slavery, a form of it. I mean...these whales are not there on free will.

Hopefully, someone gets them out someday.

  • I feel so bad for Lolita she has such a boring life. when the killer whales at sea world are being taken care of very well and they are so happy and at peace! FREE LOLITA!!!

  • i agree with u but if the goverment thought that they were doing something wrong then okay but it's fine sea world has it bigger just because they actually have more animals that why sea world is 4 times as big as miami seaqauaruim

and if you are so consonered why don't you contact the manager himself

  • poor lolita i love her!!!

but she has no room in her little fish bowl

  • oh wow, did anyone else notice that they're using the music from the old shamu show? You know what why doesn't sea world try to do something about this whole situation? I mean it's totally ridiculous how small that tank is, I WOULD HAVE TROUBLE SWIMMING IN THAT THING!!!!!!! I am so MAD!!!

  • first of all it's quite big im a dolphin trainer and i can tell you it may look small but's huge

  • So because you are a dolphin trainer you can see better than the rest of us. This video alone is proof that the tank is too small.

  • @graceloveseventing come on seriously? if you have any knowledge on cetaceans you would know how much room they need to swim, think about this lolita has to swim 6,000 times around that pool a day to keep up with her family in the wild. It's even small for those lags!

  • @dolphingirlek1 it is not, its fucking sooo small, she has to turn to do some of her flips and bend her body certain ways.

  • hope that one day people realize what they support every day when they pay to go there.

  • wat happened to the big killer whales????

  • hey, did u guys know that lolita's tank is ILLEGAL? yeah. ITS THAT SMALL. it shud be at least 48ft wide.. its 35. ILLEGAL. JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW: STRIKES OUTSIDE THE AQUARIUM EVERY SUNDAY 11 - 4!! COME SUPPORT CAUSE, FREE LOLITA!

  • Is this still going on? The Miami Seaquarium pisses me off so much, I want to join as much protests as I can, Last time I went all she did before the show was face the corner of her tank.

  • Haha, id love to see her push the trainer out of the water like they do at sea world. at sea world, they have room to do that, but here, she would fling that trainer into next week, she wouldnt even make it close to in the pool.

  • And I thaught the tanks at SeaWorld were small.

The size of the tank compared to that animal takes the piss.

  • Wow it really pisses me off that in that almost 8 min, lolita only did lk 4 things while the dolphins did like 10. God i feel so bad for lolita and that she has to stay in that hell!

  • poor lolita still in her hell :( hope she be out of there soon

  • You know, Lolita is a modern day Free Willy.

    Remember the quote?

"You put him in a dolphine tank, alone."

  • How anyone can watch that whale in the small tank is beyond me.

    *Shakes head*

  • Wow! That tank is so, so, so, small. If for whatever reason Lolita can't be released, then we ALL need to protest for a bigger tank and another orca for her. After knowing so much about an Orcas social structure is keeping her in a tank alone really justifable? Absolutely not! Because we know so much about their social structure there is no reason why Lolita shouldn't have another Orca with her.

  • I visited the Seaquarium 7 years ago and they had this exact same program for the show. How incredibly boring it must be for Lolita the whale and the dolphins to do the same thing over and over and over! Every day, every year... Lolita has been stuck at the Seaquarium for 38 years in that tiny tank.. Imagine what she must feel like! =[

  • Peepchick, this is not about you nor is it about Toki's unfortunate history. It is a mere trip film of someone's visit to the park and you're ruining the pleasure of watching the video.

It may look boring to you. But if that whale thought of the training sessions and shows as "boring," then she wouldn't do them. Plain and simple. The way those trainers train those animals is all about fun, enthuiasm and positive reinforcement.

  • I didn't say this was about me. I'm just talking about Lolita in general. I'm just commenting on this video... Nothing I said was false - her tank IS small, even in comparison to Sea World's tanks, her show has been the same since I was there, and she has been there 38 years. I don't really see what's wrong with saying that.

  • OrkidForever, do you denie that her tank is too small though?

  • No one is saying her tank isn't small. It is small. It is very small. I look at the way her trainers care and train her, rather than her tank (which is something that isn't gonig to change before she dies).

  • thank you for posting and sharing this nice high quality footage of the Miami Seaquarium. :) I added it to my favorites.

I do wish the Miami Seaquarium would build Lolita a bigger tank.
