I was an Obama supporter in 08, but now I'm thinking that Hillary would have been better. Don't get me worng, I like Obama, but I think Hillary would have improved the country more.
regardless of whether Hillary becomes VP to Obama she will undoubtedly hold a high position in his cabinet. i think that Hillary waged a great campaign but she is right to place her support behind Obama. He will be the next great President of this nation and will, with the support of the American people, unite a divided America.
I am uplifted each time i hear about the 08 election because it is inspiring to know we're LIVING history as it is being written. heres to Obama/(Clinton?) '08!
Oh I loved Hillary Clinton. Her speech was so magnificent and made me tear up a bit. But now that she's out, it can only be Barack all the way. I was born a Democrat, and there's no way I'm supporting a Republican.
But you can be sure some vindictive bitches, 'Democrats' so-called, will defect to John McCain, simply because a woman will not become president. Those are the hardcore feminists.
Not a "woman", but a "white woman". If they were that concerned about it being merely a woman, they would at least stick with thier party and vote for Obama.
I am a Baraker foremost, but I must admit that her carefully-chosen words brought tears even to my eyes. Well-done, Hill. I wish you many years of success. But its our time.
"Our time?" This is the DEMOCRATS time regardless now if you are an Obama or Clinton supporter. Quit talking still Obama vs Clinton.....start talking in a united voice so we can win this election!
Regarding many comments about both Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama:
Some day, hopefully within my lifetime, an assertive, confident, competent woman standing on a national stage will not bring a deluge of screaming heebie-jeebies from a pack of frightened, civility-challenged, hairless apes. Hope springs eternal at any rate.

With the tremendous amount of Americans supporting Clinton, I am asking myself why Obama should have the right to select anyone other than her to be his running mate. Racism still runs deep in this country and it would be ignorant to believe Obama couldn't meet the same fate as John and Robert Kennedy. More than ever, I believe the Democratic Vice Presidential candidate is crucial, as they could very well become our next President. The American public deserves that to be Hillary Clinton.
Are you f-ing kidding me? He has the right to select who he wants because he won and your comment is completely out of line talking about assassination. Add it to the long list of others that are either racist against Obama or sexist against Clinton. The tone on all sides has really disgusted me when reading through a lot of them on the videos I've posted. America really doesn't mind showing it's ugly side when you don't have to look someone in the face that you deal with daily to do it.
Its amazing just how stupid Democrats really are!! They are willing to throw away an election on a know nothing Black Militant, Anti Semitic, Anti White Churchgoing, Affirmative Action Pick Negro named Barack Hussien Obama who also has a very tacky wife with one hell of a LOUD mouth. Way to go Democrats. This PC crap your playing is going bite us Democrats in the ass big time. In 2012 i see my Dems running a Muslim in a dirty night shirt and a transvestite and wondering again why we lost.
Ummm... the Democratic party is obviously not YOUR party, you bigot. You belong on McDouche's team. Bigotry, or ANY kind of discrimination, has no place in the Democratic party... the party of the people!
Let me just make it clear that Obama is not a Muslim. However, even if such an allegation were true, I don't understand why it would make anyone think less of him as a person. What is wrong with being Muslim in America? With being Christian, Black, Jewish or Hispanic for that matter? I understand that bigotry is defined by ignorance. But to encourage hatred on that basis of assumption and prejudice disgusts me.
Name me ONE THING that Obama has said that was "Black Militant"-like? Name me ONE THING that Obama has said that was "Anti Semitic"-like? Name me ONE THING that Obama has said HIMSELF that was "Anti-White"? And did the Harvard Law Review "Affirmative Action Pick" this "Negro"? NO! They picked him because he was the smartest and most trusted, which is how they, his peers, pick the head of that group You CANNOT be this stupid. You are simply spewing what Fox Propaganda has mindfu@!ed you with!
WASHINGTON - With his Democratic foe now certain, Rep. John McCain is scared out of his mind constantly asking his mother "what to do"? Staffers are wringing their hands saying ohmigawd!, ohmigawd!, ohmigawd!" "I'm running for president to keep this country I love safe from you know who," the Arizona senator says " A vote for Obama IS a vote for real change and who wants that"? McBush went on to say "Real Americans like the way we Republicans have been screwing up things you'll see."
Great speech! Thank you Hillary for bringing so many new people to the Democratic Party. The time is NOW for us to make the difference, we must get involved and help the Obama Campaign in any way we can. The fate of the entire world is on the line. We cannot afford to allow John McSame to be elected President. We must organize ourselves in a way that has never been done before. The elephant is really a dinosaur. Contact the Obama Campaign, GET INVOLVED, and work your neighborhood door to door.
i find it fitting that the democratic organization would be the first to propel the first woman and african american candidates with any real chance of winning toward the white house.
the GOP represents the past, plain and simple. Dems are the future.
I'm glad to see Hilary taking her loss in stride and doing the right thing. Our country needs a Democrat in the White House. Kudos to her for a great campaign and truly making history. Let's take the next step and get Obama in the White House!
The speech was quite good. It gives me renewed optimisim that the path this country is currently on (never-ending war, low-valued dollar, loss of respect around the world, record-high oil prices, etc.) can be changed with a united democratic party that will lead to a democratic President back in the White House. "We cannot let this moment slip away." -- Hilary Clinton.

You got that right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is Florida 2000 all over again. I am officially tired of the Democratic party, and I regret registering to vote as a Democrat.
How's this like Florida 2000? Obama played by the rules, Clinton didn't want to once the rules weren't favorable to her, what do you think Obama supporters would be saying right about now if she had managed to get them to overturn the rules, and bend over backwards to hand the victory to Hillary while she had fewer delegates and fewer popular votes by any reasonable count? Obama supporters would be saying it'd been stolen from him and they would have a LOT!!!! more logic behind them in saying it
"If we can blast fifty women into space, we can someday launch a woman into the White House." ROFL Channeling Jackie Gleason? "One of these days Alice..."
Seriously, thanks to Hillary for breaking new ground for all of us. She's a class act. Marvelous speech! Now lets get back to work and make this a country we can be proud of once again. I'm sick and tired of being embarrassed and appalled by "my" government.
I believe that everyone has a right to be what ever they want to be whether you are a man or a woman and it was a great speech. If I recall it is a man in the white house that has made a mess of this country!!
I agree I Think Hillary Voters Should Support Obama, Because Why Would You Support/Change Ur Vote To Republican McCain When Ur Democratic, She Should Also Be Vice President Because Together They Can Share Their Ideas & Be ONE To Run This Country; We Need All The Support We Can Get. Excellent Speech; 1 Of The Best; She Has My Respect; OBAMA-CLINTON 2008!!!
Great. The first time I've had respect for Hillary since the primaries started and we began to see all her smear tactics and dirty lies. Although my opinion of her has slipped considerably, this was a good speech and I salute her genuine gratitude to her supporters. They deserved this acknowledgment. Personally I think Obama deserves an award for keeping his nose clean and not stooping to the depths she did, to constantly get 'one up'. And he still managed to secure the nomination. Amazing.
Feminists don't necessarily hate men, hell, I am a man and I consider myself a feminist to some degree. Just means you recognize that there are inequalities that still exist, and it doesn't stop you from recognizing the ones against men as well. However, as much as I'd like to see a female president, at the end of the day it does need to be someone who's right for the country in other ways too, just like I wouldn't vote for Condoleeza Rice. Hillary wasn't right for the country, she's ego-driven.
you are an idiot omni - feminists in the sense of the world only means gender equality - equality isn't hate or superiority - a agree that a lot of people who call themselves feminists aren't really - but i don't think hillary is one of those.
