i was just wondering this, and to be clear im sorry to ask u this if its already been explained, but can the gloves be modified to affect multiple block in any ways such as blocks in a line or maybe the blocks surrounding the target in 2d or 3d in the same way or even predefined independent directions? i am new to adventurecraft btw but i think its inevitable i will use it so for that i thank you and hope that your time and effort leads to at least some skrillz.

Making mods/edits is 1 thing, making an entire game which caters to a large audience is another. Notch puts in many hours each day into programming and developing his game, this character, Cryect2, is only making single items (no offense intended). Obviously both require coding and editing, but lets not forget that we would not even have Minecraft if it wasn't for Notch. Not to mention that this item is mostly for novelty, and doesn't show any obvious efficient use.

Remember, the concept of the game has nothing to do with programming.

There is little evidence to suggest that he is a better programmer than Notch. Obviously some of these creations are new and unique, but 1 could argue that Notch has started from the ground up, so he has to set the basics before he starts on any complicated systems. At the same time, it is quite obvious that Cryect2 has received a lot of inspiration from the Zelda video game series, whereas Minecraft is a little more original.

Well he was inspired by Infiniminer, but look at what Minecraft has become! Minecraft is a lot more popular, it offers a continuous stream of content, there are many new/improved mechanics (mobs, certain items, block properties Etc.), and a lot more!

So far, Crycet2 has made a boomerang, bats, a glove that allows 1 to move objects around (without the use of the inventory), Etc. All are amazing, yet they are extremely reminiscent to the Zelda series.

I'm not accusing Shiftri of hating on Notch, i'm just saying that, from the evidence of a single sentence with a small amount of description, that the point seems a little biased, and i'm just restating points that (s)he may have missed.

I wasn't talking about the concept of the game, i'm speaking about the actual game that Minecraft is; Blocks, items, AI, Etc. - Cryect2 is merely (although, undoubtedly, impressively) making a few items, that serve limited purpose...

Crycet2 could be just changing a few commands and codes here and there, on a game that was already a base for him to build upon. If he had made a game, made the basic mechanics, and then added these extraordinary features, then, undoubtedly, it would be obvious that he was a better coder than Notch.

@shiftri To be a good programmer is a matter of what you can pull off, how fast, and how well/efficiently the objective was coded. Don't mix that up with creativity. Cryect is possibly a more creative programmer than Notch, but to measure which is actually better would be a matter of contest. That said, he *is* adding many more features, and at a faster pace, than Notch. Not all original ideas, though. I'd feel most confident saying "Cryect is a lot less lazy of a programmer than Notch." =P
