If you have a Rock Band 1 disc, there's supposed to be something you can buy from the store and install. It's for around maybe 5 bucks. It's 30 swedish crowns, I.E. 30 kr.

Once you have it installed, go into the game and then extras. Should be something there.

according to harmonix, the cover version is harder in every category than the original.

The solo is the only harder part on guitar, there is slightly more bass in the cover version, the singing is the same but harmonix doesnt make much sense and the drums i find to be slightly more difficult but for pro players, it will feel easier because the cover has some parts where you E.G. use left hand first in a roll, as an example

The original Tom Sawyer is way easy on hard (I got 97% sightread on hard versus 94% typically on the cover), but expert this song is nuts compared to not only hard, but the Tom Sawyer cover as well.

the pads are amazing, the bass pedal is not, its no more responsive than the standard one. i have an upgraded bass pedal so i tossed the ion pedal aside quickly, but i liked it a lot less than even the stock rb1 pedal + metal cover.

To answer, yes, that would be the capture card. I'm not sure why, but I noticed that immediately after recording the files. In any case, it's not huge.
