Probably a stupid question but why can't I reman my tanks? The crew bailed but the tank seems all right and they won't enter again...

@HenkGoesBad Try checking if any critical part of the tank was destroyed or damaged and try repairing it

it's hard to get huge battles you know? you're trying to let all your units survive and they get killed so you've to buy new ones for points wich are also hard to get :(

in silent heroes the 75mm does not easily penetrate mostly all of the tanks but this ,the Stug is like a monster.

looks an awesome game :p recommend this for people who want a realistic game? I read company of heroes was a good one for realism but (although its fun) its more straddling the line between realism and arcade rts :(

@GamingLeeLee CoH is more of an arcade style game, if you like realism then MoW is a good game.

@GamingLeeLee oh yeah, the voice acting is crap, but that is because its a russian game and they just got english voice overs, but no one buys that game for singleplayer, its all about the mp.

@UserRelated yeah its like they picked some random tourist off the streets on the day of recording lol I think its got quite a good single player, certainly not the ultimate in RTS campaigns but certainly up there with the better single player games out there. Havent ventured into multiplayer yet, it looks a blast though, doesnt fall victim to the usual unit spam/rush tactics that ruin other rts onlines does it?

@GamingLeeLee as far as spam goes, you CAN spam in it, but there is a unit timer on most units so spamming is difficult and if you can manage to spam it rarely ends well for the spammer. People again, CAN rush you but it is VERY difficult. I have played MP on this game for about 7 months and almost NO ONE rushes or spams. It is a (in my opinion) very balanced game.

why are 2 stugs and a t34 are working together?? is it possible to capture enemy vehicles in this game?? i love to play CoH but i still look for something more realistic and micromgmt.

Yes, it is possible to capture any enemy equipment as long as it is intact.

so infantry has the ability to take out enemy tank crews by what kind of action?

AT grenades, bazookas, panzerschreks, panzerfausts, dynamite, molotov coctails, AT mines.

You can also make the enemy crew to bail out by destroying the turret. After that you can repair it and the tank is yours. Also disabling the tracks can make crewmen come out and try to repair the tracks while you can kill them.

Also if you crush the hull you can still repair the tank. Hull crushed is a lighter damage to the hull, which can be repaired. The bigger damage, hull destroyed, can't be repaired

My problem is that I want a realistic WW2 rts,but this is far from that. I want to be a general, not the tank captain -> micro is just plain bad in my view... And these tanks shooting each other from meters... it is horrible... Fun game, but I think the whole RTS genre has room to improve.

if you really want to feel like a general, i suggest theatre of war 2 africa 1943 or theatre of war 2 kursk 1943 if you like the eastern front more.

@feamatar try Hearts of Iron III, it puts you in the seat of the supreme commanders of any nation in the world during WWII, but you can also put your own units under ai control and control down to a single division. Wow i should be paid for that ;)

@Fonzarellify and engine on fire and if your tank lost it turret(when i say lost i mean complety lost the turret literrary goes flying)cannot be repaired(well maybe engine on fire can even be repaired but i doublt it since the tank explode in like 4 seconds after the engine starts burning)

Well, the only thing in common with MoW and CoH is that they're both based on world war II.

If you like arcadeish gameplay, basebuilding and stuff like that, then CoH is probably your game.

If realism, micromanaging, direct controlling and all kinds of tactics sound good to you, maybe MoW is your game.

Anyway, both games are good, but they also do have flaws.

Wow, I've heard of human wave attacks, but with tanks? You owned with the StuG IV! You just wacked at them while staying in one spot! The other player was rather naive for sending his tanks in like that....-_-

that map i hate to play on it with tanks one time i lost 16 tank in Multiplayer because my tank cannot see the enemy no where.

i was playing as the Russian and lose 4 SI-2 in one shot and 7 T-34 and some light tank and when my tank see the enemy is was to late for them to fire.
