her english is good enough to translate her whole german texts into english. and my be she can't sing that well in english (actually i don't agree with this opinion) because she has to think about speaking the english words out in the correct way, as right as english has to sound. and you must be honest : the most germans can't speak english that well. so she belongs to the germans who can speak english very well. # same with me : i'm german and look at my english. *yuck*

i think her english songs are good. You will never get a brill translation because the words have to be made to fit. I think the accent is a good thing. Better that than adjusting her voice because then it's not her anymore and that cheats her true fans.

no matter if it is better in German, you have to cut her some slake, she learned english so her english fans could understand it. and without the english version i would not have been able to pick up the message in German... i do agree that she should work on toning down the german accent :)

you see, the way i see it, she doesnt need to get rid of the accent. shes german, her english is going to have a german accent. its not like the fact that shes made an english album means she isnt german. however, ill agree her grammar could improve a little. "she aint got what got" for instance, doesnt really make sense.
