I wanted to hate this, because of the nature of what it was, but it was just as amusing as most episodes of Curb your Enthusiasm, and a hundred times better than the last outing in Vegas Vacation.

Maybe you guys need fart and racist jokes (watch Family Guy). But I thought this was hilarious! Especially the valet! LMAO! It's mature comedy. I love Chevy's comedy delivery, he's a pro! And Beverly is still hot after all these years!
This was fantastic!!! Just as funny as any scene from their movies. What made those movies classics are condensed in 15 minutes. The chemistry is still there.
@apocalypse1280 They actually have a great way to continue the franchise for the next generation by making Chevy the grandfather and making Rusties the main family. I'd recast Julliete Lewis as a broken down audrey...
I think his line "It's certainly not as good as our first vacation or that one in Europe, but hey, you know, it's not been that bad." sums this up pretty well.
Great to see them back in the truckster ! Lame but I liked it. I would like them to do one more good Vacation movie. I think another Christmas Vacation would be good if they did it right !!
wally world was best, euro kinda sucked, christmas was good, vegas was alright, but this was pretty lame. for 15 mins they should be able to pack a lot of funny stuff in, this was pretty dumb, but hey some people liked it.
Doing another sequel would not be a bad thing, IF, and only IF somone were to bring the "heart and soul" to it as it was brought in the Xmas Vacation movie. For a writer to pen such a movie and a director to deliver it in that very fashion would be the best scenario for such a sequel to work in this franchise. Other than that, we're looking at failure. This particular video was pretty good - it felt like a European Vacation movie. But the new movie should steer clear of this type of reboot.
terrible by classic 80's vacation standards, but there's something about the chase/d'angelo tandem that's just timeless. and even though it's technically not a national lampoon movie, it's still better than most of the post-80's NL stuff like senior trip, gold diggers, transylmania, the van wilder movies, or the cousin eddy spin-off.
Beverly D'angelo is still amazingly fit, even though she's like 60!
