Its going to be a more sword like version of DBZ lol. But no blasts and everything, just sword clashing, sword slashing, and sword locking. @ReldWolf There are two types of attacks. Brave attacks and HP attacks. Brave attacks are used to steal the opponents bravery (the big number above the hp bar) and raise your own. This number determines how much damage you do to an opponents hp with an HP attack. You can tell an HP attack apart from a bravery one because HP attacks, when used, show their name at the top of the screen when used.

I figure it works like this.

When pulling the trigger you release a magic charge of energy to the tip of the blade for a brief second, this energy makes slashes much stronger, but the trigger must be pulled at exactly the right moment otherwise you'd be dealing an average slice. The gun barrel effects are just decoration to make it look like a brand.

Kingdom Hearts is it's own thing with Final Fantasy characters thrown in the mix so I wouldn't really say that Sora or Riku belongs in Dissidia which is a Final Fantasy universe game. =P Just my opinion.

the characters seem to be smacking each other around pretty hard..... and yet the HP meter doesn't go down?

Its a different system of battling. Basically you have two things to pay attention to: Bravery and Health. Two types of attack: bravery and health attacks. So here's the relationship between the two. Bravery is how much HP damage you can deal. As you use bravery attacks, which don't affect health but will take away from your opponents bravery, yours goes up. And once their Bravery is down to zero, you "break" them. And gain a bonus of hundreds of bravery points. So that 227 of health damage you

could have dealt now becomes a thousand plus. But once you deal an HP attack, your bravery transfers as damage to their health; essentially leaving you with only one point of bravery. Which means the opponent could break YOU in one bravery attack and hit you for a thousand plus damage. Its an intricate battle system, and fast paced and fun.

a little trick... when you are in chase mode try to send him to the null trap (when you're in that purple ball in the bottom of the stage) chase him again when he's trapped and hit him with a HP attack it works for CPUs :)

When in chase mode, wait a little time and then HP attack, the CPU will evade the wrong time and you get an free hit.
