House party's!shit man coppers turn up witin 1hour when i crank these babys. I love'em they are the shit I seen and been to a lot of live music over the years and the jbls are always the most present. I have a mate who is going to purchase these as well and he has researched the shit out of all speakers in this class and the eons g2 are the best on paper as well. But like any speaker or instrument let your ownearsdecidedbecause weallhearsoundsdifferentlyandthat's whatshoulddecidethepurchase.
I think its probably about time for bigger budget sound rental/installation companies to start phasing out their cabs and start using line arrays. JBL already has small format line arrays (VRX) which is perfect for small performances and the compact vertec and midsize are great for medium and large venues respectively. Amazing sound, greater coverage, more versatile, easier transport/storage, and saves so much space.
This is the first bad word i have heard about the jrx range everyone in the trade say that they are great value.....alround speaker....i hope so just brought some even though i can buy behringer at trade....so i hope i made the right choice
Need to be carefull when shopping from JBL, The quality is all over the board. The high end JBL stuff can be beat it's some of the best enginearing and build quality in the world. Other stuff like the EON line is utter crap. JBL still makes some really high end stuff in CValifornia but allot is not made overseas.
Avtually i have 2 JBL Eon 15p-1 and they work lie a charm. Very loud, good bass...Great quiality. I highly recommend JBL and the EON line. Your gonna get ur moneys worth
come on now.. JBL's not that bad... great for portable quick set up. the eon's that is. definitely not for a permanent install.. if you do that then you fail.
but JBL's high end stuff is INCREDIBLE. check out the JRX line and be amazed.
I don't mean to say that it is anywhere near as cheap as Behringer or Gemini, it is good quality, I guess I meant that JRX is JBL's consumer grade series. JRX soungs great, I agree, beater than some.
I love my EONS 15 G2s... Not sure I'd push the 10s that hard - but they do make great fill speakers where you need to get sounds out your mixer's zone output...
i'll give you 200

JRX sucks, compared to the new JBL SRX 700, MRX and Eon G2 Series.
djsareawesome 3 years ago
seriously?
sure the SRX 700, MRX, and Eon G2 may be better, but you can't say that the JRX sucks.
