Why do all your videos look soo Yellow and ugly? I mean your technique and all is great.. but the colors and White Balance are always so Cannon-ish and yellowy

Ive had the camera for a long time now, and with the inteligent auto on you cant go wrong, it shoots better footage than most of what i see on TV. This is a camera thats just below pro level, and thats only because it still assumes that you have no idea what you are doing and doesnt let you manipulate all manual setings at once, but it lets you adjust each one and keeps the others automated. If you are not planing on making a living as a cameraman, this is the best bet!still cheaper than PRO.

If you want to produce a useful test video, you need to have a wider range of colors, and you need to move the camera more. This video is almost all hues of brown, and the camera does not pan enough to show how the camera produces rolling shutter.

1) Is there much difference between cx700v and cx560v?

2) Have cx560v SteadyShot and NightShot like cx700v?

3) does it works just as well to buy cx560v instead of cx700v?

@WAYCFs the 560 and 700 are almost exactly identical. The only big differenc is the 700 has like 30GB more of storage

how could you have been filming with the CX700 in JANUARY, the camera is for sale in march......plus the camera was present to the press on the CES around the 10th of january, your telling me your the only personn in the worlf sony has sent a test camera to???? seem fake to me

sehr seltsam, nirgends kann man die Kamera jetzt schon kaufen, nirgendswo ein Review dazu finden und nun schwups findet man ein 1080p Video von der Cam bei Youtube.... entweder gibts die Kamera in ein paar Tagen nun wirklich zu kaufen oder das war ein Fake.

Also ich bin immer wieder erstaunt, das Tester, die neue Videos mit neuen Geräten wie diesem neuen Sony HDR-CX700 erstellen, so schlechte Motive, Kamerapositionen und Ideen umsetzen. Wer nun Schwäne abfilmt und dann auch noch in dieser miesen handwerklichen Qualität, braucht dafür keinen Hochleistungs-Camcorder wie diesen!

@Veyedeo do you know what is the goal of a camcorder? it's to represente all what the ground have. You make documentary and other think like this. DOF is for photography and CINEMA. Camcorder is not for to make CINEMA, so, don't search DOF in a camcorder.

Cool, dass ihr jetzt auch testvideos mit Camcordern macht, denn davon gibt es bis jetzt wirklich noch keine guten Testvideos. Natürlich kommt die Qualität der Sony HDR-CX700 nicht an die Qualität einer Spiegelreflex, oder großvormatigen Videokamera heran, doch in diesem Video kann man sehen, ihr holt alles aus der Kamera heraus, was geht! Super, weiter so☺

@mr473424 The lenses by the Cx700 are not changeable. It is a consumer to prosumer camcorder!!
