  • a lot of ppl fail to do the legs and torso motion correctly. these can only be learned over time.

  • Pretty good serves, but as a tip, your body is moving well left afterwards. That's something I used to do. I've found that it helps your serve when your body is moving forward and it gets you more balanced and ready to continue the point.

  • Your serve bears some similarities to Gilles Simon in the way that it's a no frills motion but an effective one.

    Keep it up.

  • why don't you become a pro you would be pretty good

  • you arc your back and loose balance a bit. and lean back instead of bending your knees and going down before the jump. keep your balance centered before contact and land more forward not so much to the left. start with feet a bit closer together

  • yup that's right, good advice. I've been tossing more forward recently, and my serves have gotten much better. Actually it was an accident when I was experimenting with serve & volley. Anyway thanks to everyone who mentioned the toss!

  • Hey. Nice serves. Iwas wondering if you could check out my tennis serves and give me some advice on them. thanks.

  • actually it's Yonex RDS 001 (first version)

  • haha can't stop laughing after i noticed that his both feet are planted in the ground. you must be on your toes when serving

  • no knee bend at all! you would be crushing those if you use your lower body and really get up to them

hopefully you've incorporated some form of knee bend into your serve by now :)

  • try to face your body more forward and jumping more into the court

  • when you hit the ball your feet are flat on the ground get on your toes and explode up more =)

  • you are foot faulting every time

  • yo make sure your toss is closer to your forhand side. You wont be able to really let your swing out unless that happens.

  • toss isn't high enough, and when u hit the serve, the ball already fell 2-3 inches. Nice second serve tho.

  • :53..massive foot fault..

  • watch out for foot faulting...

  • you should toss more in front of you, into the court to generate more speed. Also, bending your knees will help a decent amount. If you had a smoother service wind up, I think it would also improve your serve in the long run.

  • u cud put so much more on tht serve if u had a knee bend

  • you look like you might be able to serve 120mph soon if you try to go faster. its already got to be 110+ already for your faster ones

  • no knee bend because ur body is already bending lol.

  • unbalanced

  • dude... theres no body weight transfer... its all arms... you might wanna work on body wweight transfer... it makes your first serves more powerful...

  • you're pretty good man.how old are you?

  • Good 2nd serves, but what questions me is why would you toss behind your back on your first if its a slice. If you toss more into the court you could get more speed which is what you would probably want. For the 2nd serve I think it looks fine. Consistent and reliable. Overall a good set of serves.

  • bend ur knees, it looks like ur about power and speed, so toss more in front, ur throwing high and back which is more for kick and slice, and those are mostly for 2nd serve

  • weird, why do u toss it back so much and behidn u

  • good serve

  • great work!

i think that you could get a little bit more power and consistency if you bent your knees a little more and kept your head up longer

  • are you tired?just slow down and you will be better

  • u ar good.

  • you foot faulted loads of times man. you look a decent player but i would beat you though. keep up the good work .

  • yes foot fault

  • Are you really 21 LOLL. you're the best :)

  • dont fall sideways, your toss should be out infront of you, giving you momentom to go forward aftering serving the ball, which will add more power and consistantsy

  • dont fall sideways, and your toss is all over the place

  • u use no legs :( ,shameful

  • are you really 21

  • umm yea why?

  • you look really young lol i guess that is young as an adult but not as a kid

  • lol well hopefully i don't look like a teenager! but then again 21 is not that old, i was a teenager just 2 years ago...

  • you should try serving at someone you hate it increases accuracy!

  • omg l0l you just made my day :D love that comment!

  • Great serve and power, but remember your balance, you don't want to fall over, so throw the ball higher and forward instead of the side. It looks you are trying to kick it but never on first serves.

  • I like your serve you throw it on your back so you can get more spin

  • its ok to do that, wait Blake does it and he serves very well. i have a world class serve and when i hit flat I ussualy toss it in front but when i play provincials, i toss it virtually like djokovic right on top of my head, and its very unpredictable wich serve i'm going to hit.

  • id say you should bend your knees, when i serve i bend them i a little bit, i really start bending the knees when my arm gets tired tho, it really helps. and about the toss, thats a good kick serve toss, but for a flat and powerful first serve, it needs to be straight up and a little bit in front of you

  • um..ur losnig ur balance, try throwing the ball straigh tup where ur hand is when ur throwing it up, and a foot in the court and a foot away from ur hip, cuz ur right arms reach wouldnt be over ur head, itd be to the right of ur body, so that means the ball should be to the right of ur body so the racquet can contact it and hit it at its apex

  • well, recently i've been trying to get my weight moving forward on the serve, and i seem to serve much more accurately. thanks for the tips!

  • yea ur toss is all over the place and its makes u shift to the left instead of you being stable and putting all your weight into the ball.

  • Your toss sucks and is limiting what you can do with your serve. It's behind your head, which shouldn't be done unless you hit a topspin serve or a kick serve, and they obviously aren't. Put the toss into the court, and in front of you. You are falling over for your toss, taking away the weight transfer. The knee bend is your choice, but a good knee bend can do wonders.

  • yea throw the ball in front of you and in the court, not over your head because you're not doing kick serves, and also try making your whole motion smooth, you're pausing then waiting for the ball then hitting out of no motion, its like throwing a ball, get that motion and dont pause between

  • very good serve

  • uhhh foot fault?

    i cant really tell

if u move a little more to side u get more angle too

  • yea it's a footfault.

  • good serves man

i find it weird, at the top of your toss before you hit, it doesnt seem like you bend your knees enough. you might get more out of the serve if you try it, but its wahtevers comfortable with you

  • hey! you switched rackets! =D

  • hey nice to see you again! yea i switched to the RDS001 mid instead of the Prestige, the RDS gives me much more spin, and a bigger sweet spot too!

  • =] yaay! =]

lol. the first time I tried the Prestige, I didn't feel good. what strings did you put in?

  • I strung it with Luxilong Big Banger Alu Power Rough (long name...) at 55 lbs., which is the minimum tension for that racket.
