Can't comment on the Motorola Droid but the HTC Droid rules. I've had mine about 6 months and haven't had a glitch. Marketplace has hundreds, of FREE apps and free updates I bought an extended battery and I can watch videos non stop. Bought an 8gb card it just works..

From my understanding, any Android phone will soon be able to update to 2.0 which is this phone. For example if you have T-Mobile My Touch which is 1.5 Android hopefully next year you can update to 2.0 and have the same capabilities as this phone.

What I dont like about Android is how they come off as the 100% Customizable - Freedom to do what you want OS but why would they make a deal with Verizon to hold off on this "Freedom" and not make it available for all now?
