  • These serves are about as advanced as Neanderthal man.

  • racket? Paddle.

  • I bet this guy can't even spell table tennis... go skateboard or something white boy

  • Expert Village Sucks xD im afraid this is gonna be the next chuck norris jokes or justin shit

  • u must read this. once u have started there is no turning back. a little 10 year old girl was raped and murderded in 1945. her body was not found until 1947. then a boy last week read this and did not copy and paste this message. the dead girl appeared in his room haunting him and killed him. if you do not copy and paste this onto 10 vidoes in 30 minutes the dead girl will apear in your room tonight and haunt you and kill you. well you better start to copy and paste to be saved

  • dude you suck!

  • omg im scared to sub he has 138,747 vids :0

  • your serves are illegal. you have the basics just remember to toss the ball higher and not to hide it with your hand and forearm

  • @prjoeyj yeap i agree, as much as i love watching this video, though the way he's serving is not the 'proper' way & that wouln't be allow to be drawn on matches, the ball should be thrown in the air for about 2 seconds

  • for all the haters! if you dont like or play table tennis, then dont watch the video!!!!

  • hahahaha he calls himself EXPERT hahahahah LOL but its ok for beginers

  • he reminds me of Justin Timberlake XD ;)

  • @MrJakup93fo but more retarded face

  • @MrJakup93fo

    oh yh lol

  • @MrJakup93fo HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how do you do the serve where you like throw the ball into the bat ? i cant find that serve anywhere on youtube, you like hold the ball, and throw it into the bat? if you understand me

  • @amorantottc & @cecilia1999

No offence meant to Jared, but if he's teaching, let him first learn to do it right!

    These techniques are just wrong.

"expertvillage", huh? "amateurvillage" should've been the right name!!

  • so many table tennis pros on youtube..... i guess its easy to criticize someone when you will never have to back up your trash talk.

  • Technically, all those serves wouldn't count in real games. J

  • wtf man you are talking and talking you are annoyng, practice wtf.morrun

  • its actually funny to see him teach wrong technique and stuff and mislead bunches of people

this is more like, basement ping pong tactics than "expert" advice

  • OH YEAH! That "flare" thing you do only made me think that your a twat with bushy cattipillar eyebrows

  • O. M. G. PISS OFF AND STOP MAKING THIS SPORT LOOK BAD YOU TOOL.

  • coolt

  • c'mon give him a break..... not everyone has the skill and heart to teach....

  • did anyone realize he kept calling it a racket instead of a paddle???

  • why hate on this guy he's nice and he's giving good advice for average players trying to improve.

  • worst serves ever... i dont think expert is the right word:P

  • Great tips.

  • there not really advanced serves but still cool that hes trying to help people

  • @sasanvancouver wat eva

  • this guy is better than the other guy I've seen.

  • @sasanvancouver I would agree with you that this video is a little lame. It's pretty elementary stuff for being titled "Advanced" (i'm sure you would agree with that sasavancouver, considering your below claims of ping pong fame that you reminded all of us about on several occasions), plus the amateur camera angle doesn't even give us a view on how the spin of the ball reacts with the paddles.....but damn bro, you just sound like a douche.

  • @SketchyBusiness26 I'm not a douche... that FireVortex720 is being fucking moron... and this video should have a title of " basic serving tips "

  • Subscribe I have Table Tennis tutorial videos! :) XD

  • Hi, thanks for the videos, good work !!

  • if it's fr beginners then it's nt the way... bcz if u start with ths kind of services, u game is over... moreover, we cdn't see any spin frm the diff. types of serves he ws trying to show...

I wd suggest to take lessons frm an Asian guy...

    :)

  • omg just hit the ball!!!!!!!!!!!! example plz!

  • Expert Village is for the sheep in sports! They have a sheep to teach the other sheep. So the sheep learn it, practice hard, and never get perfect. It is said that practice makes perfect; however, imperfect practice makes imperfect!

    Know what you know!

  • thank u...nw i know how to play ping pong for our P.E class

coz im still in 7th grade

never use a ping pong before

  • this is fpr beginners!! man this vid sucks

and your services are extrem bad!!

  • Thank you

  • dude this video is the best guide for xpin serve in Table Tennis.u rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • Come on, it is for beginners.

  • The ball doesnt look to have any different spin when u serve it each way, practice more if you want to be considered a "expertvillage" teacher. or maybe a better camera angle would be beneficial.

  • lol..thx 4 the info man...

  • interesting vid! thanks for ur dedication!

  • you're a very bad table tennis player, you must leave it to the real professional coaches and players

  • @ttdbcatbar lol

  • @TamedBlackie it's true, i'm a table tennis player and for me it's a bad joke

  • this will really help me alot! thank you!! nevermind all the negative comments their just jealous.. your doing a great job! keep it up!

  • Comment removed

  • @TamedBlackie bat

  • many movements when hits the balls it remains very low power.. clown

    nice job ¡¡

  • how do i remove the sublitling..am i missing something..this is annoying!

  • @shogunfogun

there is an upward arrow on the bottom right of the video, hover over it

    click the "cc" button

    no more sub titles :)

  • My bat was 58 quid and its stiga the spins amazing

  • @hammerman80 i got a stiga for 60 and it spins amazing too

  • U sucks !!!

  • holy mother.. 138k vidoes wat a god :P

  • that was helpful thanks

  • ive got a donlop raket and their rubish so never get a donlop especialy if it has got a sponge y r u seveing illeagaly did you know that serveing other the table is ileagal

  • Guyz, how can one maintain composure during games. I felt that even if you're good enough with any drills or strokes if you don't have proper composure, you're nothing. Like myself, i tend to be in the attack mode all the time which often resulted to lack of controls and miss the points. I'm over excited with every shot. Sometimes my hand hesitates to strike even if it's clear to attack especially on the slow ball. Please help. Any advice or training that could improve your composure? Thanks!!!

  • While he has 'good intentions' the issue is that he himself is technically bad. Pingskills have far better videos (look on YouTube). It's best to learn by watching how it should be done properly.

Also the video is falsly titled 'Advanced'. These are very beginner pieces of advice. Take what he demonstrates with a grain of salt. Best of course is to simply follow Pingskills, you will improve far faster than by watching this stuff.

  • you are a good teacher but you arent a good player...

  • @75228200 : there's a good player that's not a good teacher.... there's a bad player but good in teaching. Teaching is a different skill.

  • first of all, the people who say this guy is really good and that we should do some research on the guy; BS, he sucks

though i understand how this guy has a good heart 2 help ppl and whatnot, he is not helping them by teaching them the wrong techniques and etc. the serves are also illegal :P

plus, this video does not show advanced serving tips, it shows begginer showing tips and how 2 serve illegaly

  • @TheTabletennisgod you are just jealous that he aces you every game, he takes lessons from coach mo the best

  • wow its so cool lol xd.............but its for the beginners not for us

  • no need for redundant pose after serving

  • hahaha not good :P

  • Thank you...

  • cool

  • at 2:41 that nig is right I started thinking bout my foot fungus, then I was thinking about joe montana, then I started thinking about Halo 3, dang nig that stuff works

  • expert? village.

    pathetic really.

  • Dude..

You musch to Learn To Play

  • aggggggggggg

  • i cant lose at table tennis 90 percent of the time i would like to play higher level players

  • Comment removed

  • hahahahahahahaha...... hard level?

  • You're supposed to throw the the ball 16cm up in the air these a serves for Rookies but.............this video is good for people who just bought a Table Tennis table and play it for fun not sport they can use this video to beat their family and friends.

  • are u serious lmao? I play almost proffesionly 'USSAT rating 1950' and you throw the height of the net, which is 6 cm. He has a good service.

  • @aarocks23 are you serious lmao? standard service toss should be at least 16cm. NOT 6cm. USATT rating 1950 doesn't mean shit when talking about professional TT. Almost professionally? yeah right.

  • no offense, but you all are both not too smart for not realizing the communication error. He said the height of the net was 6 cm. He meant 6 inches because 15.25 (the USATT rules for the height of the net) is almost exactly 6 inches. And the difference between 15.25 cm and 16 cm is pretty much negligible. Obviously the height of the net is not 6 cm, that's like 2 1/2 inches. He meant 6 inches... it was probably just a careless typing error.

  • Stop talking trash because you don't know shit dude... Look at ANY SET OF RULES and its 6 inches up, which is the HEIGHT OF THE NET!!!!

Doesn't mean anything eh? All professionals are RATED, they are about 2100... lol all players in the United States are rated if you actually play table tennis competitively...which I bet you dont......

  • oh... I put 6 cm lol soz...!

  • hmmm this serves he showes are illegal, because he doesn't throw the ball 16cm or more in to the high

  • @taerk54

    yep he is beginner,

but that rule is never used in practice(matches)...

  • people please don't b so harsh, he has a good heart to put this up for ppl who mite need it; u may not find it helpful, but u should NOT talk him down or humiliate him...it just shows your own disgrace....

  • He got paid for it. He didn't make this video for people to learn from. Expert Village pays people for their time and videos.

  • Thank you so much!!

  • Wow...good speaker...but the TIPS are so wrong... He must be a 1500 player. Great explanation for ROOKIES who no very little about the sport. It's embarrassing. Fire the coach!!!

  • come on guys give him a break . :) he is teaching beginners and not us. Its good to have someone who really cares about the sport.

  • @amorantottc If you haven't realized, it said "advanced" table tennis service tips.. I want my three minutes back

  • @nybombs hahahahaha

  • @amorantottc what are you talking about? He says what he is saying is for 'advanced level players' not beginners.

  • @amorantottc u r not a champion bcoz u humiliate odrs if u wanna b a champ u shud not overact

  • lol this are serves you learn the first day of training :D

  • you suck!!!

  • This serve tips is misleading. He didn't even mention that you have to toss the ball up minimum 6 inch, and behind the white line. And also you have to put the ball in center of your palm with your hand and finger straight. He put the ball on his finger and curve it before he toss it, now most of the umpire will call on your serve if you do that.

  • "Advanced Table Tennis Serving Tips" if u are advanced u are supposed to know that, but you are right he is an idiot.

  • that's in the basic serves dumbfuck.

  • He mentioned all that in the previous video.

  • Wot is wit d arm movement serve???

I suppose u wud bore ur oppeponent wit it so he wudnt notice d serve???

  • his wrist is everywhere. if anything its probably gonna screw the server up more than the opponent

  • he looks like justin timbalake

  • it is Justin timberlake. didnt you know. stupid

  • srry dude but i would destroy you...too much crazy wrist action. not to mention that it depends what type of racquet your opponents use. some racquets sold, depending on pad thickness, will negate that spin. some of these serves will also keep the ball high which allows the opponent to hit easy winners off you.

  • i can't comment on whether he's good because obviously he's letting people notice his wrist actions by doing the ridiculously large movements. okay first of all i played table tennis since young and i reckon i know a thing or two about this sport. This is basic table tennis anw, nowhere near advanced. No good player should disclose his/her serving actions (minimise movements and use contact point touch) because that will invite a great counter on the return ball.

  • what i say does not come from this video only, if you see the other videos of this guy and if you have played table tennis before, you will see how bad he is. when i saw his "top spin" recommendations i was like WTF

  • lol. well from this video itself, i agree definitely he's pretty bad like a novice. hahah top spins should be made using almost the same forearm motion. The point of contact, velocity of drop and flick of wrist determines the spin actually.

  • he's actually very good maybe you guys should do research before assuming the guy is awful

  • if you want to watch what a table tennis player / training is, just type wang liquin, waldner, timo boll, wang tao, jean philippe gatien, jean michel saive, ryu siu meing, or who ever is in the Top 500 of the world. This is crap

  • there is amateur village no go to the website right now please put comments on amateur village roseller from csr

  • hey, guys, with all respect, stfu! he's certainly no pro, but he does KNOW how to give good table tennis advice/lessons, and I've found these videos to be very useful.

  • he's teaching table tennis in a gym...go to a club

  • "withthat, they are going to be thinking all kinds of things"

All there going to be thinkng is what a fucking retard you are.

  • pingskills is better

  • lol it seems like hes just waving his arm in all directions dude u dont know how to serve

  • expert advice? Come now, you are a 1520 player after 3 years of practice. I hope you are at least honest with yourself. As for the serves, though the things you say make sense, your demonstration does not match your words. A few comments: notice how every single serve you make strikes the table were hard and sounds very loud coming off the bat. That is an indication that you are not grazing the ball but simply striking it. That means no spin.

  • expert village just makes me angry. Call it amateur village or something and I'd be ok with it, I might even admit to their video's helping out absolute amateurs, but this is so far from expert.

  • i won a trophy for winning in a block party!!!! lol :D

  • LMFAOOOOOOO i play national table tennis and this is bullshit

  • arent you special

  • you reckon

  • nothing compared to Ma Lin.. lol

  • i agree entirely - these 'expertvillage' table tennis videos are a farce and ridiculously misleading. btw - why was ironmaniatiko's comment marked as spam? what he said is perfectly correct - you shouldnt put up 'expert' videos when you are not an expert - you do more harm than good.

  • because he brainwashes people with his videos, thats why he marked me as a spammer. Just look how he mislead people in his info:

"Learn from an expert in ping pong about some advanced table tennis serving techniques in this free gaming video on how to learn and play table tennis".

If he was an expert in Table tennis, i m waldner and wang liquin in one person.... its terribly sad that he pretends being someone that he is NOT

  • brainwashes them....really....

  • Did you read the rest of the info?

  • OK i am Chinese so i call the shots here!!!

    HAHAHAH ok just kidding.

OK but honestly, if you want to be 'expert', you have to stop using serves to win you points. Cos if you're really playing with an 'expert', few serves, no matter how spin how fast or how good, will win you points.

Becos any long serve=opponent loop=you at disadvantage straightaway. There is really only one 'expert' serve, the short serve.

  • hey people! anyone here from indiana or california who play this sport? i miss it and cant find anyone

  • Tips for serving like a retard. Hilarious serving motion @ 2:33. This guy is definately not role model!

  • people i only have 1 tip to share...try not to learn what you see and play that, you have to adapt your own style so just experiment

  • first serve high enough its like 1 meter to high and nice grip when you serve

  • i really liked that now i have new good serves

  • excellent

  • hahah this is shit, holy shit, everything is wrong. your 'reverse pendulum' had an illegal toss too

    lol

    lolol

  • in denen aufschlägen ist so wenig spin wie in linksdrehenden joghurts

  • thats village not expert ;] I am sure I would bit you ;] stop learing if you are amateur

  • this guy shouldnt be giving advice if hes a amateur himself. Good video, what he teaching is not necessarily wrong but wont really help your game much. I'm a noob also playing hardcore for the last 2 month; I'd recomment pingskills on youtube; its free, over 30+ videos, the lecturers are former olympic athletes; couldnt ask for more. Very easy to follow and helped my game alot!!!

  • People, give the guy a break. He's correct in the advice he gives and so what if he's not world caliber. Why don't you douche bags make a video serving correct way.

  • watch schlager's serving vid rather than this fools.

  • i think he's a lot better i've he's playing serious

  • This guy is no expert. His serves are between beginner and intermediate standard.

  • no one in expert village is really that good

  • sometimes i wonder if these expert village videos are just massive gee-ups...

  • way to have the skills of like a six year old.

look how freakin high those serves are!!!!!

anybody could smash this guy's serves

  • omg...my serve are way than him...

  • im 10 and i could serve like that

  • yeah not really advanced, i was hoping this would improve my serve but i got told how to serve like that on one of my first training sessions 8 yrs ago

  • btw ... @ 2:48 his technique looks a little bit gay ... ^^

  • lol this is not for advanced players ... this is for beginners !

  • thats all expert village is..
