  • LMAO......... you all people work for NASA ?

    ROFLMAO !

    fucking Pornstars Working For " (N)ATIONAL (A)NAL (S)EX (A)SSOCIATION "

    ROFLMAO !!

  • If all life on earth came from singled celled organisms and gradually evolved into intelligent life forms (according to scientists) then who's to say it couldn't have happened somewhere else out there if the universe was so vast and endless.

  • You would be foolish to think the only life that exist out there is only a micro bacteria cell...what is it about humans that think intelligent life can not evolve to a fully developed being with arms and legs that walk like we do.

  • Oh big whoop. Don't care, time to play Starcraft 2.

  • They're saying alien microbes could exist when in reality there are already extraterrestrial beings more intelligent than humans cruising the cosmos. The government is just slowly preparing the public before revealing much smarter life exists.

  • Holy sht IT'S AN INVASION haha jkjk

  • THIS IS OLD NEWS

  • @hildre100 I swear just about everybody that comments on youtube is a little virgin never had a G/F or first kiss before douche bag and the people that thumbs these loser nerds up are even more fail at life. Youtube is seriously the biggest loser/troll gathering i think i have ever seen.

  • @hildre100 lmao

  • This just in... micro-organisms found alive on mars...NO ALIEN LIFE FORMS... but it makes for a cool headline,,, LIFE ON MARS..pffffft

  • Id like to study the Microbacterial organismsms living on uranis.....

  • @hiphopsavior88 I fuckin knew it, the moon its actually an cheese, anyways its explain why theres wholes in it!! thanks buddy

  • @nanotech2006 Lol i love your grammer!!

  • noooo, the media lied to us?? I can't believe this!

    /sarcasm

  • is it true that nasa doesnt even go out to space anymore?

  • @hullohulloRFC what do you mean? like with human passengers? or just anything in general. NASA launches stuff into space quite often. google "nasa launch schedule" it will show you a list of upcoming launches. And if you were talking about humans, yes they do still... remember there is still people living on the international space station.

  • @hullohulloRFC NASA's plnng to send a person onto a One-way mission to Martian Orbit in 2030. Now, that would be a Giant Leap of achievement.

  • @forgottenmemories63 yeah a giant leap of achievement for bullshitters

  • it makes sense considering arsenic is right below phosphorous on the periodic table meaning it has similar features

  • Fake & gay

  • ITT: Idiots who have never taken a biology class in their lifetime.

  • so all i learned from this video is that everyone in cali are aliens!!!

  • if bacteria can eat arsenic THEN I CAN EAT IT TOO!

  • The real story should be Life found on Hebes Chasma-Water everywhere on Hebes Chasma.Face book photos by mike lebrasseur show -300ft satt.dish top front of hebes White dome with a telescope in it and a few hundred buildings.Take a look.

  • What a fucking stupid video.

  • @LuckyBambooExpert

    What a fucking stupid person.

  • sweet more ideas for biological warfare... just what we need.

  • who cares? does this affect my life at all?

  • @GearsofMaverick like with anything else only if you let it.

  • @GearsofMaverick Yes, sit back and enjoy what your money has produced.

  • @GearsofMaverick does this affect life of a mindless drone stuffing himself with buritos every friday evening? no, should he care? no. Personally i find it quite interesting discovery yet again proving that this world is still has mysteries. also it once again notes how important is out-of-the-box perspective for science and we shouldnt deny ANY possiblity unless we can prove its existence or lack of it.

  • @Sanorpas are you saying im a mindless drone that stuff myself with burritos? I just don't give a shit about bacteria that eat sulfur.

  • Comment removed

  • @GearsofMaverick no im just implying that you should think before you speak or you will be considered to be one :) Ofc not every discovery leads to something groundbreaking, but its always a step forward and not back. Ignorance is bliss i know but look at it this way: where would we be if ppl who figured out how to smelt bronze would look at iron ore and go "who cares, bronze is good enough" ?

  • @Sanorpas I guess if you look at it from that perspective you are correct.

  • Conclusion: Man does not own the universe. Measure of man's intelligence is what he knows in his own backyard. Earthwise, what you see is how you interpret.

  • so basically the announcement was theres life in the universe thats not on earth and whats poisonous to organisms on earth isnt poisonous to everything else in the universe

or in other words captain obvious held a press conference and people actually listened to him

  • @KojachBaumherr no that was not the announcement at all. the announcement was that ON EARTH for the first time ever we found an organism that doesn't use carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, iodine and phosphorous in it's growth/life process. it substitutes arsenic (normally a poison) for phosphorous. it's actually an incredible discovery since there has never been any evidence whatsoever of any deviation from the first six elements i just named, ever, anywhere.... until now.

  • JUST DISCOVERED? This has been known for years.

Extra = More, an additional amount.

    Terrestrial = Land Being.

The rich land developer who bought 50,000 Acres of property is an Extra Terrestrial.

    UFO = Unidentified Flying Object

The Gas on the Barbeque was turned up way too high. When it was lit the explosion launched the beef clear across the state. Many on the ground did not identify the object that was flying through the air.

    UFO's are real.

  • @Ryzler13 your a fool... extra terrestrial refers to not from the planet, terran refering to the planet not the surface... im not even going to respond the UFO comment its just stupid

  • @predator2222 People who take an obvious attempt at humour seriously need to lighten up.

Have you ever wondered why at such great distances apart the moon is just the right size to eclipse the sun? Have you ever wondered why the moon always shows the same face?

  • I want this girl to talk dirty to me xd

  • OMG it's a cat !!!!

  • SHIT she sound like the robot i n Portal .... -.-

  • FUCk !!!! i thought they would talk about a discovery about alien life in space !!

not a stupid speculation about a microbe found on earth

  • Bacteria that survives poison..? Ladies and gentlemen welcome to a new world of domination. This will eventually end all man kind. A sickness that cannot be treated by ur regular prescription pills.

  • @rolstc

lol....... this was discovered, not created; it has evolved just like everything else, we just didn't know about it.

  • Sexy voice.

  • HUH???? Oo

  • reveal/ any web based email password for cheap! >> mail-password(dot)com <<

  • do they usually pop or die, or brake , or or ..what???

  • What an irritating voice

  • WHY ARE TELLING ME THIS??? I NOT UNDERSTANDS

  • wow... cool... and well neato...

  • Looks like Mono-depressive lake ?

  • WOW! I go on vacation over there like every summer! I was just at that lake! Ohhhh and it's pronounced Mono Lake not Mano Lake u piece of shit reporter lady bitch!

  • blow job?

  • I think the case is overstated. We have no examples of higher life forms with arsenic in their dna. Perhaps that is an evolutionary "dead" end.

    Get it?

    Arsenic? Dead End?

    Oh, never mind...........

  • @paul36100 I'm not a scientist and it's only been 2 days but based on current findings the data supports the idea that the bacterias bodies adapted the the very slow switching of levels of phosphorus and arsenic in it's environment (mono lake, which runoff source was closed off so the arsenic levels built up and phosphorous was replaced). In a way it's a sort of very small evolution but more of an adaptation. All in all the switch of the phosphorous and the arsenic doesn't have any noticeable

  • @ inertiguild

Is this evolution? Is this alien or did it adapt without the phosphorous ?

  • @viacalvy it is actually without phosporus whatsoever.the lake gradually lost all of its phoporus which led to the DNA using phosphorous' very similar and usually poisonous friend arsenic to make up all of the DNA and other parts of it's make up that used phosphorus. Instead of a hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, carbon, phosphorous organism we have an organism with the first 5+Arsenic. Which basically shatters a huge part of the way we understood the tree of life.

  • If you comment above this your gay

  • lol i like the vid in the related: Known Alien Races- We were never alone!

sounds just as serious as this video? LOL

  • Damn it I thought i was going to see some green men!

  • She sounds horny

  • earthling once again have no idea how life started.

  • OMG! anything but microbe invasion!

  • The comment below this one is even stupider

  • The comment below this one is stupid

  • fuck off nasa u lying pieces of horse shit

  • @JustSomeGuyOk what are they lying about?

  • @ihmen your dads cunt

  • Soon to be released cables involve UFOs. The fact is NASA refuses to disclose this information and their investigation of the subject to the public. That's the main reason funding should stop. If NASA stated truthfully UFOS are real, they need funding for investigation. and that they will open what they have learned to the public. NASA would have unlimited funds, many would support NASA. Lets hope the upcoming information is significant enough to push them to being more honest with the taxpayer.

  • @guitarraveboy well UFOs are real. there are things in the sky that people cant undentify. but does that mean it had to be an alien spaceship? of course not. there is a difference between a UFO and an alien spaceship. i dont understand how people make the jump from not knowing something, to concluding its an alien spaceship. and even if nasa did discover aliens, they wouldnt keep it a secret. they would publish their findings and make billions of dollars.

  • @ihmen Wait... so UFO'S are real... but there not?

  • @Meixafuhellzman2 well you just gotta understand what the term UFO really means. UFO is unidentified flying object. UFO is not synonymous with alien spaceship. all a UFO is, is something flying which you cannot identify. if i threw a frisbee really fast that could be a UFO for a brief momment because it would be an unidentified object that was flying. thats why im saying, just because we cant indentify something in the sky, does not mean we can conclude its something like an alien spaceship.

  • @ihmen Your comment is ignorant to the subject matter I presented in my comment. This is justified by the following :A reasonable assertion can be made from the past 60 years that UFO is a term used to describe alien craft of extraterrestrial origin. To state that UFO just means it is something not explained is simply a personal ideological denial. I will refrain from conversing with you due to the fact that you just don't understand your own comments. The entirety of your post was invalid

  • @guitarraveboy i actually believe you dont know what the term UFO stands for. UFO is UNIDENTIFIED flying object. so how do you get from an unidentified object, so identifying it as an alien spacecraft? sure the laymans term UFO usually refers to an alien spaceship but that is simply not correct. we commonly make the mistake of assuming that we dont know something, then it must be this (ie alien spacecraft). however, this is a logical fallacy called argument from ignorance.

  • Aliens are fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@@

  • Thx NASA for telling the world something that might turn into a weapon worse then an atomic bomb. (sarcasm)

  • Thank you for posting this video! Please keep them up!

  • Have you checked the US Mexico border yet?

Better than your arsnic lead I heard they can survive entirely off Mcdonalds and Tacotimes

    down there.

  • In Sweden there are immigrants that grow entirely off Socialism (rather than the usual employment or self empoyment).

  • When she said "...dot org" I thought she was goin to say "orgy"

  • This was a cover story to divert Americas attention away from whats really going on with NASA and the Authorization Act of 2010 run by none other than Chairman John D. (Jay) Rockefeller IV himself. They had to find a way to keep from losing their funding at a time when America is broke! They got their funding passed so they can move forward with plans of colonizing and weaponizing of space.

  • 101,587 seen this

  • Things eating arsenic.. aren't those called banelings?

  • @FulltimeNerd its not eating arsenic. its DNA structure is part arsenic which is not like any other living thing.

  • @ihmen And how does it get arsenic to incorporate into it's DNA?..lol. Anyways, this is old news, I heard about this years ago, maybe it wasn't "scientifically" verified, but certainly known/speculated.

  • @jermicine it doesn't it was gradually taken off of phosphorous although it's not solely arsenic, it still uses phosphorus.

  • @jermicine phosphorus is what holds the DNA double helix together, right? well this bacteria uses arsenic instead of phosphorus as the backbone of its DNA. nothing like it has ever been found before. sure its been speculated that this was possible. but creationists would say things like "the only possible life is what we see. theres no new life thats different because its all been created by a designer". but now that we've finally found it. they're freaking out trying to figure out what to do.

  • Judging by her voice. She isn't a scientist

  • Uhm.

It can't grow on arsenic alone.

It can substitute phosphorus for arsenic.

If something were able to live solely of arsenic, that would have been bigger news, don't you think?

  • Big suprise...

  • i come in peace

  • I HAVE STAR WARS NEW THEME SONG ....

  • I THOUGH IT WAS AN AD

  • Does this mean we can go to mars and shit

  • @pablodabrownkid no this means that there can be life where no one thought it was possible for it to exist

  • @pesaddicted68 plenty of people thought this type of life was possible but they weren't taken seriously until now. now suddenly they are smart where as before they were idiots.

  • @pablodabrownkid nahhh it just means that scientists dont know the basic living conditions of life yet, and tht this finding changed everything by proposing that there can be life that came from poison

  • @pablodabrownkid lol, what grade are you in?

  • @conman2317 Does this mean we can got o mars and shit lol ...

  • @pablodabrownkid Seriously, you just made my day. I laughed for 5 minutes straight when I read your comment.

  • Does this mean we can go to mars and shit

  • Anyone who thinks this is a useless bullshit discovery needs to shut the fuck up and learn something. This is about as dumb as the people that got mad at nasa because pluto was their favorite planet as a kid and now its classified as a kuiper belt object.

  • Not all creationists reject evolution. Do you mean "young-earth" creationists, those who think the earth is 6,000ish years old? I don't know what they'd say... There are lots of people who believe God created the world AND are open to evolution. Not mutually exclusive.

And I apologize for being a little rude before... irks me.

  • @morgandonovan yeah i meant young earth creationists.

  • This is what your taxes going. NASA scientists are doing kids play.

  • so are the creationist going to say god planted that new bacteria in mono lake while no one was looking?

  • @ihmen Ignorant, irrelevant comment.

  • @morgandonovan no, it is relevant. how are the creationists going to explain how a bacteria started using arsenic in its DNA? if they say evolution cant happen then how are they going to explain this?

  • @ihmen evolution doesn't fully explain how amino acids randomly spawned into complex life, this isn't evolution, its adaption theres a difference

  • @lgreenl well of course evolution doesnt explain how amino acids formed into the first life. thats called abiogenesis. they are two seperate theories. evolution is adaptation. such as using arsenic in the DNA instead of phosphate. i want to know how they're going to explain a bacteria switching from phosphate to arsenic. because that is a new "kind" of bacteria.

  • @lgreenl evolution cant account for huge changes over short periods of time, like the theory suggests, for example, human supposedly evolved from primates, in less then 20,00 years then human brain size nearly tripled. this is just one example how evolution cant account for every change, most changes are caused by evolution. but changes like these just don't match up with the theory. I believe god is responsible major changes. Both creationism and the theory of evolution are correct to an extent

  • Oh dang! Arsenic DNA.. 2012 is coming soon

  • @cesarfiladelfo= Boring.

  • wow grow up

  • you should see all of the different life forms living in my anus

  • @Top40ModernRockPlay ahahaahahhaah

  • @Top40ModernRockPlay OOOH!!

    You can pop one too?

    You should join "theend1245 n'

    dirrrrtyhands" both of them have

    aliens forms in their anus.

    You guys are amazing!!

  • @vellotrol Shut the fuck up you stupid ass black nigger faggot. I'll punch you in the damn face. so quick you gonna be like WHA?!! THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!? then ima jerk you off and make you cum on my chest bitch

  • @Top40ModernRockPlay you mean your dad?

  • @Top40ModernRockPlay ...

Yeah.. thats why you should always keep your ass clean.

what ever you put in there or force out ..when you are done always:

    Wash your ass with Tide...

    Wipe your ass with sandpaper...

    Just to be sure

  • nasa u r dissappointing our country :/

  • WHERE ARE THE ALIENS ???

  • @theend1245

Get a mirror put it on the floor

squat on top of it and take a

crap, you'll see an alien coming

    out of your butt hole.

  • @vellotrol i lawled @ that

  • whaaat crapp is this...to the guy that said if you believe in aliens your delusional....I think your the one delusional.

Our world is full of secrets, such as the killing of jfk, aliens etc..

I think jfk was an honest man towards his people. He told the elites he would release a piece of documentation the world should know, and then they killed him before he could get it out..

  • @californiaconor78 - I hope you are being sarcastic….

  • Whoever believes in aliens is delusional.

  • @DirrrtyHands

Considering the amount of planets and galaxies within the universe, its actually delusional NOT to believe in aliens

  • @sun2088 I was just about to reply to him the same thing.

  • @DirrrtyHands

Considering the amount of planets and galaxies within the universe, its actually delusional NOT to believe in aliens...But now if you are referring to the accounts of alien abduction, them im with you on that

  • @DirrrtyHands Believing in extraterrestrial life is not delusional. There are more stars in our galaxy than grains of sand on the Earth. And then even more galaxies in the universe than that. This recent discovery of a non-carbon based life form just made it a hundred time easier to believe that there is life is occurring in a number of conditions. BUT yes, believing that humans are being abducted and that aliens visit us might be a little delusional.

  • @DirrrtyHands Really? Billions upon billions of galaxies, each with an average of trillions of stars, not to mention exoplanets are much more common than previously thought, and you're telling me alien life isn't possible?

I'm going to assume you meant "whoever believes in >>UFOs<< is delusional" and be done with it.

  • @Skaarjguy not possible till we understand how biological life is started. which is if we ever do make life. in our labs; till then no there is no life out in the stars.

  • @lifeismasked What in the world do you mean "until then?" Alien life doesn't exist until we discover it? That makes no sense. We're not talking Schrodinger here.

  • @DirrrtyHands WRONG BUDDY!!

    "theend12345" can pop one out

of his ass and you might be able

    too if you try it.

  • If there Is other life on planets get me a one way ticket to get outta shitty earth please.

  • @NYY82 Such a stupid line.. "if there is"

Theres ENDLESS FUCKIN PLANETS AND GALAXIES OUT THERE. How would there NOT be? Its not like were special.. could be planets with just animals, like the dinosaurs once was here and shit.

  • Arsenic is in the nuclei of this bacteria, if spred, and they die inside your body, then arsenic will release out to your body.

  • bacteria warfare

  • wow arsenic!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If it lives of poison, i dont think its a good idea to start testing that shit.. sooner or later zombies will happen! so be prepared.. zombieland baby !!

  • @RagingBull51 exactly what I was thinking, this germ could spread all over the world, also some people will very soon start to grow these bacteria and use them to kill people.

  • My god, I'm so disappointed. NASA used to be really down with science, but now they've become some kind of joke. I thought the news would be something incredible, but all we get is a joke, "Oh, life is possible in other planet, who could've imagined that.". They're acting like they just found God, "Oh, he was sitting on a toilet, cruising on an asteroid, scratching his balls. This is amazing." Why did such dumb news come out now, they've been at it for 30 or more years. It's all a joke.

  • Did NASA not have anything else to take away importance from the WikiLeaks cables?

  • I want my tax back. These NASA people are doing kids play

  • this is all in preperation for real disclosure they are getting us ready to accept the truth....

  • the more simpler the life form the more its able to survive in extreme conditions..

  • You madam have a sexy voice

  • is this nasa or ...snasa?

  • Extremophiles is old news...

  • @Yggdrasill4 these are not just extremophiles...their basic structure defies everything known about biology!

  • hahaha nasa fucking full of shit

  • next goal -> searching for silicon-based life ^_^

  • hehehehehehe
