Axel, I seem to remember that Tanja was struck down by a virus that kept her off the ice for a long time; but, she was able to recover and return to the ice. I wish she had been able to compete longer, as she was a breath of fresh air and a joy to watch.

@ja3399 she came back in november 1997 won the nation cup, the nhk trophy, the german chapionship, was silver medalist at the grand prix final, and finish with a european bronze medal...
