  • saw him last saturday night at Shimp Fest in Gulf Shores and he is amazing!

  • Jimmy is local talent for NW Arkansas. I have seen him play in my ex-husband's old blues store on Dickson St in Fayetteville. He's really laid back, but AMAZING in person. Absolutely gives you chills when he breaks into guitar solos. My best memory is him grabbing my empty beer bottle and playing slide w/ it.

  • Freaking SWEET!

  • seen him twice in two years- both shows included the anthem. he kicks ass

  • The only amps i ever saw him use were Black or Silverface Twins, turned up to death levels; that was about 4 years ago, so dont know what he's up to now. But he's here in about a month so I'll figure it out. He told me what effects he uses (there werent many) but I forgot now. I'll try toupdate when I see him next month.

  • No. That's a pair of Category 5 amps he's playing there.

  • Jimmy ranks right up there with the best. And I've seen a gazillion bands.

  • Rather under recognized by most, but those of us lucky to see him really appreciate you posting this! The rest of you need to see Jimmy when you get a chance.

  • Brilliant !! Thanks for putting this footage on Utube. Is that a Mesa Boogie Lonestar amp he is playing through ? Check out Tony McPhee of The Groundhogs , great player too
