In other words, in the past, it was far harder to get admitted to collage and therefore only intelligent and well educated people could make it that fat. And students do work half time too.

schmotz: are you aware that Horowitz spent most of his early life totally dedicated to the civil rights movement? Are you aware he was a supporter of, and worked for the Black Panthers? Did you know his parents were dedicated communists and he was a radical leftist until the early 70s? His "10 points why reparations are a bad idea" is in no way racist...although I'll admit point #9 (that you cite in your post) was insensistive and should have been left out. Unfair to compare him to Duke!

here, nin lies again. in fact, it was a nearly opposite set of circumstances. a goe veteran did instigate the incident by tearing a photo from one of the fake cardboard coffins progressives carry around. this was because such displays often use the names and likenesses of fallen solders against the expressed specific wishes of immediate family members. a nearby protester claimed to have been the pictured soldier's kin (progressives often claim either military or gold star status falsely)...

...a minor row erupted in whch it was actually the veteran who was pushed to the ground from behind, suffering a scraped forearm. nothing much to write home about, but apparently enough for progressives to dramatize and lie about.
as in the case with the trumped up "attack" story, nin assiduously neglects to report that goe is mostly comprised of war veterans. that is, unlike the ivaw, the group which they frequently protest.

both allaw membership from non-military people, but ivaw has had spokes people who are either civilian frauds, as with jesse macbeth, or noncombats who have been caught telling demonstably false stories.
it is neither out of line for goe veterans to show up at these events to defend the onor of their genuine service, nor does it make for an even vaguely apt analogy to the indecent displys of hatred for open, pluralistic discourse progressives display at speaking events with regularity.

You can side with America or against it during wartime. In fact, Democrat politicians can even advocate for al-Queda orgnanizations like al-Haramain, openly and officially, to attack the US Telecoms companies for the "crime" of assisting the FBI wiretap al-Queda after 9/11.

actually, he went back four years to find an incident in which a group of muslem students attacked the college republicans' information table they had set up at a voter awareness event and tried to make it fit as some kind of corkscrewed backasswards analogue to the phenomenon of lefty mob actions against pluralistic discourse. and, would you have guessed it? it is itself just another example of lefty mob attacks on others' free speech.

in fact there is NO analagous incident of conservative students doing this antispeech mob thing which progressives do reliably whenever a conservative - or, in many cases, a non-radical liberal - speaks. i just hasn't happened.
nin mentioned a couple of other things which made no sence. he mentioned the gathering of eagles as a rightwng attempt to silence soldiers, when in fact goe is an organization of veterans who first assembled to protect the vietnam memorial from being vandalized by...

Yes, and while it's possible that Leftists are too dull minded to recognize their mythology as such, I'm not so optimistic. All evidence, including their posts, points to the sad realization that Leftists purposefully deny reality, as it interferes with their politics; their absolute fidelity to depavity. In any given topic or context, they will always choose that which is maximally damaging to human life. Here it just happens to be an alignment with the Islamists.
