hey guys can anybody help me i have this version of T2 in bluray and i played in in my ps3 and it worked and everything but the main manu looks different from the one shown in this trailer and also i can't access the special features they're not even shown on the manu. is it because i'm playing it on my ps3 and i have to play it on a bluray player to get all the feactures? or do i need to update my ps3? thanks to whoever answers!

Just like I was saying in my previous comment.

All you have to do is push "Cancel" instead of "Retry" when that pop-up comes up. It's still ridiculous for this film to have that kind of horrible menu.

Actually, I don't like the way the special features were handled on this Blu-ray. You have to go online to access most of them... unlike T2: The Ultimate Edition DVD.

The picture and sound on this release is freakin' awesome though.

@LukeLovesRose i agree mate, i think that ulitimate dvd was epic - had a whole film school full of features. i cant even access the blu ray features properly...i dont think it has the same ammount as that dvd...also they messed with the image, digitised it for some reason, just looked wierd

I saw in theaters before Terminator Salvation and the expectations for that horrible sequel sky-rocketed. And that didn't help everyone's reaction to the TS POS itself. lol.

We all wanted to watch T2 on the big screen again as opposed to the POS we were watching. lol.

Yes Salvation was a drag huh? yes i saw T2 when it first came out when i was 10 years old about 4 times in my city and i had nearly all the merchandise from lunchbox, Kenner action figures, backpack, t-shirts, halloween costume, a mug, hat, magazine, comics, books including making of T2 and that sort of thing as i still have some of that merchandise. I even played the Arcade game which was awesome, remember that for that was a great game.

The SkyNet edition is kind of shitty in terms of extras. But, that picture quality is freakin amazing.

I remember seeing this exact same trailer when I saw Terminator Salvation. Talk about hyping up a Terminator film only to be letdown drastically by the movie that proceeded it. lol. I mean, everyone in the theater was so ready to re-watch T2 because of this, it wasn't even funny.

I have brought a Bluray player, and Im not touching this because it has green smearing issues all over the film in certain places that does not even remotely come near to the theatrical version in transparency! The green is noticeable when there is white hot light and some blue colouring in the image creates a YUCK colour!

im in the uk i have a sony ps3 usa version and a sony kdl46-5500 i also have the skynet version region a as long as the firmware on the ps3 is up to date all the functions on the disc will play for example at the start it tells me where in the world i am my broadband provider my local time even the weather and temp ..... anyway as for the film there are 3 versions on the disc picture quality is simply stunning one if not the best blu ray films out there......... AWESOME!!!!!!

Did you hook it up with analog or coaxial cables? If you hook it up with analog you will be able to play it if you hit play about 2000 times and put peanut butter on the disc

Totally wrong! In actual fact movies are shot using film that is far superior to BD resolution. That's how older movies can be converted to 1080P; they actually have to downscale the original movie to "fit" into HD 1080P. Select Go To Special Edition, make sure Play Special Edition is highlighted (red) and type on the remote (not too fast): 82997 (You may have to push enter between each number on certain players). As you type, the words: The Future Is Not Set appear in yellow on the right hand site, where the symbols where, then select Play Extended Special Edition.

I have EVERY DVD edition of T2, and was about to buy the blu-ray (even though I don't have a blu ray player or hdtv yet, lol) but read that it was a crappy transfer and was only the theatrical version with no special features.
