I downloaded this the otherday and I can tell you its very much HD, the graphics are 10 times crisper than gamecube or ps2, and I'm loving that whatever costume you wear actually shows up in the cut scenes, best $20 psn dollars I ever spent.

do u know if u can still use the saved data of re4 in the internal ps3 memo card (have the old ps3) on the downloaded re4? lost my re4 disc.

@midniteryder Not to sure but I doubt you could, because the downloaded one is a ps3 game and the save files go to ps3 saved data whereas the ps2 one would have been saved in ps2 memory

if that's the case then oh well, had a good run with re4...unlocked nearly everything & enjoyed blowing up ganados heads with handcannon, typewriter, etc.. good luck unlocking the handcannon if u're really good with mercenaries!

I played RE4 HD last month. It was called Shadows of the Damned. Seriously though, although it ain't no classic, any RE4 fan should play SotD. The spiritual successor to RE4 I think (but with better controls - you can sidestep and roll, and shoot while you move). Anyway, glad to see this get the HD treatment. Day 1 PSN purchase of one of the best games ever.
