Thanks for the great video! I've been wanting to study Japanese in Kyoto for a long time, but yeah, I've never been to Japan. I'm curious to hear people's opinion on whether Kyoto is more a nice place to visit than a nice place to live. People seem to love going there on vacation, but living there for a year or so is of course a different experience.

My first day in Japan, I visited Kiyomizu dera!! It rained and hailed!!! And the waterfall was amazing! Too bad you were there during a heat wave!

@randomyoko Kyoto was my favorite place to shop for clothes! Hah. We actually started the day in Osaka at Osaka Castle, then went to Kyoto by bus! It was a College Class trip, so everything was packed into our short stay. We only had 3 free days out of 14! The rest were all tours and sight seeing.

Watched this while I whipped up some lunch. There's something very soothing about watching normal people do random, every day things in other parts of the world. Much better than a Hollywood movie with car chases, IMO.

Yoko i love Public Transport in JAPAN when i was in Tokyo las October i took the shinkansen to Kyoto , and Osaka , , anybody from Us going to JAPAN should buy JR pass here in the STATES , the seven day pass is About 350 dolls ,, but is well worth it ,, my favorite Temple is Kiyomitsudera .. i LOVEIT!!!!!! i could live there for Ever!!
