  • i got in a 55 mph head on in a dodge durango and my leg was pinned, but nothing else happened, im never driving anything smalled than an suv ever again, be safe everyone

  • @markisballer Looking back, was it avoidable? I haven't been in a car crash yet, and I drive a lot for work. Be careful when driving SUVs too, because you have the potential to cause a lot more harm to everyone else.

  • 3 people were in the crash

  • @prestb

the "thing" bending under the car is the tranny. It is designed to go under and not into the passenger compartment.

  • @thedippa it's fwd, so how is it the transaxle connects all the way to the rear wheels? or are you talking about whatever is bending right behind the front wheels? cause that's probably the transaxle.

  • would have broken the neck if it were real....

  • XD Look at the bottom of the car, it bends down alot.

  • You can't say its "pretty good" because it doesn't destroy the car and cramp the door to the point of not opening. It's all about safety

  • Nice but whats the rate?

  • Top pick in its class !

  • That's pretty good.

  • ok but whats the speed?

  • 35 or 40 mph. unfortunately not all test facilities use the same speed.

  • I'm sure they'll make the RWD one just as safe if not safer, dont worry.

  • That crash isn't comparable...its head on and not the 40 percent offset.

  • but if the car can get 5 stars hitting a non-deformable wall then it would do better hitting a soft deformable surface like another car.

  • because both are still at 40mph

  • Head on isn't comparable to offset, and a deformable barrier isn't "better" for bad cars, because the weaker parts of the car front get pushed back into the passenger compartment while the strong "spots" just cut through the barrier without absorbing any energy. Basically every car on the road passes these head on tests, even a chinese brillance bs6.

  • the nose crumpled but the cab looks fine. GMs done a good job on the W platform kinda sad it's going to go when the RWD impala comes out

  • I gotm the car mainly cause of the safety features hearing that car has 5 star rating in saftey, love my car, it treats me right, all I know is that I'll come out alive and not no cheap ass manufactured vehicle made from Korea will keep me safe.

  • Fucking trash can. Chevy sucks.

  • looks safe :-)

  • Lmao, I like how everyone here thinks they are a crash test inspectors. "I think it should get 4 stars" lmfao!

  • si, 5 estrellas son 5 estrellas

Obvio, los tests son del gobierno

  • i dont like the fact that it got 5 stars just for the body but they shouldve not given it 5 stars i think it should deserve 4. Dont Airbags usually deflate in asecond? and not stay stiff oddness

  • Crash test experts analyzed this car and gave it 5 stars because it is safe. They spend hours and hours preparing and analyzing the cars, all you did was watch a 7 second youtube video.......

  • 5 for both front and side. I just dont like the fact that the dummy's head was forced upward. the steering wheel should not move up that much... or at all, many other car company's steering wheels dont move up like that.

  • hey 5 stars is 5 stars

  • that is a STIFF airbag, too...

  • Not too bad. How many stars, do you know?
