  • Not bad

  • Nice I dont have to ask my mom for gas money.

  • @djbiggun1 But beware once she sees the natural gas bill.

  • The question is, where are we getting our Methane Gas? If we are getting it from Crude Oil, meaning burning it into a gas, what's the point when we are still extracting it from below the ocean floor? It's a dirty and polluting job. Are we really actually getting the gas from the land fill and putting it into our cars? Is most of the Natural Gas we use even Natural ???

  • @heartlessvietboy NG comes directly from the ground, is some cases, ready to burn, in others it requires filtration and removal of water, but no refining. It can also come from rotting garbage.

  • Can't Natural gas come from Fungus Algae? How come my rotting garbage doesn't light up? Does it require another procedure to make it more powerful? What would that be?

  • @heartlessvietboy Yes, Methane can be obtained from almost any rotting organic matter.

  • Does it have to be compressed to fire? Have you ever seen garbage that would light up?

  • Why no NGV's from the Big Three?

  • The Honda Civic Natural Gas Vehicle burns super clean. It only costs $1.80 cents per gallon. A gasoline engine costs you $50.00 to fill up. You save over $20.00 every fill up with natural gas.

  • Flow rate at a residence is limited by the fire code.

Public stations fill just like a gasoline pump!

  • Why doesn't Obama mandate that every gas station have at least one CNG pump? If he's serious about cleaning up the environment, he would have done that, day one.

If they had guarantees that there would be supply, the manufacturers would build a lot more of these. In fact, any newer car can easily be equipped to run CNG.

Things like this really piss me off.

  • @pizamoto

except there are too many people (republicans like Bush cough) that would resist such drastic progress

but there are many downsides since the technology is not as mature and advanced as conventional engines.

the real answer for now in my opinion is clean deisel, which blows hybrids away (also no batteries)

  • @pizamoto You are exactly right. We are pushing for a natural gas act that will definitely add incentives for natural gas stations and vehicles. We are fighting the fight on the hill. Write your congressman and support the natural gas act. That is the first bill to directly address the issue!

  • does it still take hours to fill?

  • Depends what pump you use.

  • FuelMaker Corp., manufacturer of the Phill, entered involuntary receivership on April 2, 2009. Honda of America, FuelMaker's sole shareholder, advised that the company be liquidated.

  • It sounds like Fuel Systems Solutions is picking up the pieces ...

  • Can we get more public pumps please --

  • Informative video! I like the idea and Honda is to be commended...I just wish the availability of the car was more widespread. Thanks Master Dan for the footage--good job as usual.

  • ooooooo HONDA HONDA buuuut i still lov toyota yay both

  • The top 5 countries with the largest PROVEN natural gas reserves are:

    1-Russia

    2-Iran

    3-Qatar

    4-Saudi Arabia

    5-UAE

And than the USA at number 6.

  • takes too long to fill
