Sam & Max DS

As a DEVOUT fan - Sam and Max was my first CD ROM game, no joke - this is LOVELY to see. I still have Sam & Max install files and all the animated episodes on my P4. Everyone who reads this: find "S&M Freelance Police: Surfin' the Highway" and read it. And while I'm at it, unrelated (other than it's excellence), get Frank Miller's old school "Man without Fear."

I remember doing this with my psp using scummvm, doing stuff like this is worth downgrading and then going to a custom frimware.

..where did you find the version where the voices are left ingame? My DOS (on my PC) version doesn't have voices past the intro, which is normal for a DOS version I believe. Though, where did you find this one, id there a copy of the voiced one that I could download for the PC, other than having to hunt down a non-mac version and buy it myself?

If you have a Mac version, you can use the same MOUNSTER.SOU file that has all the voice work in it.

The scummvm version works beautifuly with my PSP. Fullthrottle, The Dig and the others too. I've never seen it on DS before, cool.

I think that's just the video part. I really doubt the whole game is on the DS.

Or is it really possible for ScummVM to work on the DS?

it works on playstation 2,dreamcast etc so it works fine on lots of consoles

SCUMMVM DS is an official part of the SCUMMVM project.

Currently, equivalent games for SCUMMVM can work on SCUMMVM DS. Except for larger games like The Dig, Full Throttle and Curse of Monkey Island which the PSP is the only portable to be able to run it...for now.

If ever there was a non-computer that would be perfect for an S&MHtR port, it'd be the DS. Luckily with the new Sam & Max games coming out, the dog and rabbity thing will probably come back into the spotlight in some way or another.

This is the normal version... running on the ScummVM interpreter on somebodies flash card type device with a flashme'd DS.
