You could see how sick Ronnie was in some of the recent interviews before he died.

Another great human being taken away from us before we had a chance to fully appreciate his work. (Talking about young teens like myself.) I'm only 15 and I absolutely love his work and a lot of others like Zep, Halen, Sabbath, Aerosmith, Motley crue, Judas Priest, Motorhead. I wish i was born before the 70's-80's metal began to rise.

My dad met my mom while listening to DIO, (man on the silver mountain) back in '79 my dad said that song came on in a club and gave him the strength to go talk to her........and here I am. I met DIO last year here in california after a Heaven and Hell show. DIO was the coolest.....meeting him felt like I went full circle. I am sad that I will never see him again but glad that I saw him 3 times and met him. A true metal GOD!!!
