What is the problem, a poor misunderstood shark just trying to get a decent meal, and the people teasing him, taunting him, then shooting, crashing airplanes and boats into him, what is the story with that. . .

Thanks Shpshftr,I never put much thought into the danger of getting ate by a shark..or crashing in a plane..or getting thrown around in a bad storm,although I DO beleive that CAN happen,but then again,I'm the kind of person that would try bungee jumping just for fun.
I have done bungy jumping, and jumped out of a plane, and just recently went in a shark tank...all were cool! I still have a fear of heights...and STILL won't go in dark water! HA!
Loved the 4 characters in this show...played by great actors...and a special effects crew...being of course Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss,Robert Shaw ...and the SHARK! Great direction from Spielberg! Truly a terrifying movie! The Exorcist scared the hell out of me too! hint hint! HA! I'm going to keep you busy!...thanks again darkstar..your trailers and tributes are amazing! Are you watching Hollywood??
Yes I agree,this movie was a Phenomenon.When you cast great actors with a great director the magic FLOWS. Add a great composer like John Williams and then You've got gold....Thanks for the suggestion,and the compliment cinnamonnut.

If III had been done with today's "Tron Legacy" style 3D it would hold up better. In the theater with the glasses as a kid it was awesome.
