It would probably make more sense if Peter attacks who/what ever attacks him, its always Jim that gets his ass handed to him, although its Jim's fault Peter gets attacked in the first place. (in the sequel he's not attacked, his baby siblings/kids plummet to the ground which its both Jim and Psycrow's fault)
