wow you definatly stay somewhere totally different than we do! I've didn't even know there was a rock slide or a random train! We stay at Miller's Landing, near the PG+E camp. i have no clue what side of the lake that's on lol!
We go either in June, July, or August. We stay near Miller's Landing. At a campsite called Lupine something.. it's like a two minute drive to Miller's Landing. The Rock Slide is on the other side of the lake. You should ask the locals where it is.
