As the US, Japan uses voice actresses to play little children. They used the same actress for young Goku and young Gohan and they kept her when they got older. Personally I prefer their japanese voices because she is able to bring out the comedy scenes a lot better.

What's makes DBZ perfect and better than other anime its japanese soundtrack. its really gives a feeling that you cant even explain. Its just that awesome and that's it ^_^. The US version was just OK. in some scenes its was fine and even good but in many others its was horrible and didnt gave you that feeling of DBZ like its should give. Japanese version from the other side was perfect in all ways.

He ended it at goku beating kid boo because he wanted to. Also after the cell arc ended he originally wanted gohan to be the successor but then ultimately felt that he was unsuited for the role.

Akira Toriyama was going to have Gohan be the main character for the Buu saga and eventually have him defeat Buu but people in Japan wanted Goku to still be the main character so he changed it to where Goku came back to life.

Once I started watching the Japanese version I immediately got hooked and outgrew the childish funimation version with a script that's lost in translation and emotionless music. The Japanese version is simply DB at it's prime.

They weren't pros when they dubbed it. Even Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat have said they thought it wasn't that good because they were n00bs to voice acting. I liked the English dub as a kid but rewatching it now it all comes across as extremely corny. I think English Kai is pretty good though. But nothing is more epic than the original Japanese DBZ IMO. The original Jap version holds up over time because it was aimed at teens and adults. English dub was aimed at kids 13 and under.

There's plenty of actors who could have played the goofy character of Goku. If he sounded like Tarble does, Japanese would be pretty freakin' sweet. But he doesn't, and it isn't.

What's makes DBZ perfect and better than other anime its japanese soundtrack. its really gives a feeling that you cant even explain. Its just that awesome and that's it ^_^. The US version was just OK. in some scenes its was fine and even good but in many others its was horrible and didnt gave you that feeling of DBZ like its should give. Japanese version from the other side was perfect in all ways.

@DiamondCutterBang actually you are wrong. Akira toriyama was never going to have it end at gohan beating super boo. That's a fanmade rumor that had no citation to it. He ended it at goku beating kid boo because he wanted to. Also after the cell arc ended he originally wanted gohan to be the successor but then ultimately felt that he was unsuited for the role.

He made The Majin Buu Ark because he felt Gohan was not the perfect role since he wouldn't finish off his enemies quickly and he wanted to expand The Dragonball Universe since it was so Famous and make a Villian that was Impossible to beat and Majin Buu is a Perfect Example! :)

Once I started watching the Japanese version I immediately got hooked and outgrew the childish funimation version with a script that's lost in translation and emotionless music. The Japanese version is simply DB at it's prime.

I used to think like you dude but if you watch enough Jap DBZ you'll understand why Goku and Gohan sound the way they do. You just have to get used to it. Trust me English DBZ is good but the original Japanese version is much more epic because the English version left a bunch of stuff out and changed stuff around to fit kids TV. You'll see tons of shit that wasn't in the English dub. Goku and Gohan might have soft voices but the rest of the voices are extremely manly and bad ass

They weren't pros when they dubbed it. Even Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat have said they thought it wasn't that good because they were n00bs to voice acting. I liked the English dub as a kid but rewatching it now it all comes across as extremely corny. I think English Kai is pretty good though. But nothing is more epic than the original Japanese DBZ IMO. The original Jap version holds up over time because it was aimed at teens and adults. English dub was aimed at kids 13 and under.

But vegeta states, that Gohan is not as powerfull as he was, when he defeated cell.
Gohan = Slacker.
I'm not talking about his studying, its obvious thats all he did with his time. I blame chichi.
But it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't train, and is weaker at this point than when he fought against cell.
He only gets stronger because of the elder kai. Gohan does nothing.

Yeah Vegeta is WAAAAAAY stronger than Gohan here. I'm not sure about the English version but in the original Japanese version when Gohan is about to fight Dabura, Vegeta says Gohan is weaker than when he was a child.

hmmm i think mexico version is 2nd best. Japanese is the best to me because its the original and the most infamous. Mexican version is great because they used an accurate script and kept the original soundtrack. The English version is fucking garbage, terrible music, even worse voices and the script is so far off it isn't even DBZ.
