Why is it that, every paintball movie/commercial, there is always SOMEONE with those airsoft goggles and not paintball masks? It aggravates me when I see that.

Paintballs exiting the barrel at 300 fps is little over 200 mph. Unless being bunkered you won't be hit at that speed due to drag. And of course it's gonna drop off it can't sustain that speed bullets do the same thing but paintballs can go farther then twenty feet.

SHUT UP! like seriously majority.of the time when there's a commercial or episode with Paintball the gun never has air, the actor is.never shown firing the marker for a reason. That being the producers don't want to take a chance of lawsuit or liability risk.

Yes, goggles are extremely important and should NEVER be removed during play in real life. However, this is TV. None of the actors were ever in any real danger, and no one is going to see this commercial and think "Oh, I think I'm going to go play paintball and take my goggles off during a game". It will all be explained to them if they go to a field. In no way is this killing paintball, it's promoting it.

@meany1023 I have done research. And no I am not a dumbass. I know how fats paintballs travel and that would be 300 fps which is just a tad bit over 200mph. The point of paintball is for the ball to splatter and break.
