One thing I didn't understand about Yoda was this. In Empire, Yoda urged Luke not to face Vader, but in Return of the Jedi he says Luke must confront vader to become a jedi. Why?

@starmin76 I never interpreted him as "crazy" Yoda was fully in control of himself and a Jedi to the end. There's nothing sad about that, it's actually meant to be uplifting in that way. Death is "the way of things".

What's powerful about it is that Luke is now completely alone.
