He's lucky he didn't become famous 15-20 years ago otherwise he would have to put up with the relentless stupid questions such as "What do you think of apartheid?", "Did you have slaves?", "Do you like Mandela?", "Are you racist?". I know all about it. I lived about 30km from where he lived and left the country around that time. Most stupid questions came from Americans of course, especially the infinitely dumb ones like "Did you have slaves?".

I'm South African and have been living in America for about 6 years. People ask after my accent and I say that I'm from South Africa, and they always do a double-take and stare at me for a second. And it always seems to follow that they ask "How are there white people there? Are there many?"

I can't help but laugh at his accent. If you're a South African you will immediately pick up the fake American accent. Speak American or don't!

I worked in the US for over a year and laughed at the South Africans and their fake American accents. Charlize Theron does it best. No one else comes close!
